Just came back from the Menlo Park Mall Hollister NEVER the type to leave a review, but this experience left me genuinely disgusted and disappointed. The energy in this store screams mean girl clique, and it’s honestly embarrassing for a brand that should represent inclusivity and respect.
The cashier who checked me out today at 12:57 PM had one of the worst attitudes I’ve ever encountered in retail. She spoke down to her coworkers and even mocked a new hire, saying she didn’t know her name and laughing about it. That alone tells me everything I need to know about the kind of environment this store allows. She was very loudly boasting about this, no shame whatsoever in how embarrassing she is.
As someone who works in healthcare (emergency medicine) and is under 25, I know the difference between someone simply having a long day and someone who’s just fake and disrespectful. Her demeanor was unprofessional, dismissive, and flat-out rude. When I asked about Apple Pay she said “okay so that’s card” like I’m an idiot.
I’ve worked in retail before, so absolutely yes I understand. But these kind of employees is what makes working at a store and being a customer at a store unbearable and frustrating. My heart goes out to the new hire who is very obviously being mistreated already.
It’s sad to see basic decency go out the window. Respect the role you’re in and the people around you. I hope this girl reads this review and takes it as a lesson, and may management speak to her about this behavior.

About 2 weeks ago I had a bad experience with one of the cashiers here who didn't know what the heck he was doing. Luckily today I had a very nice lady with glasses help me who restored my faith in shopping here. Thank you for making my shopping experience pleasant and in helping me place an online order.

I really like the manager she is so so sweet, however the jeans do get quite Holy after 4 years. I wish for the price the jeans lasted longer but everything else is exceptional quality, which is why I approve of Hollister & I still (for over a decade now) LOVE their clothes.

I’m so angry with this store. I’m a costumer almost 2 years of Hollister and I always buy here. But in this store of Menlo today Sunday at 12:30 the manager was so rude because I brought a new Jean to exchange because is not my size and she told me that can’t do anything because I lost my receipt and I have my member account and the Jean is new I just want other Jean that’s it. Take action and try to help costumers.

Menlo park is good store. But online order service is very poor. We order 1 oct and I recive 13 oct. But 11 oct they say we return your order and refund your money in your card 5 to 7 business days. If they have not item available why they can charge. Call customers care no perfect response

Manager was extremely rude, and would not exchange brand new Hollister jeans I received as a gift for a size that fit me. Terrible customer service, manager wouldn’t give me name to complain to corporate.

Actually love this shop. We always stop by this shop, whenever we go to Menlo Park mall. I’m a big fan of hollister tshirts and jeans . Service is ok. Could be better . Not many of them to help around , for size changes etc. billing can get slower during weekends and peak hours . Perfectly located within menlo mall. Lots of options for food and parking here . Overall , I love this shop ????

Was told they weren’t hiring (3) days ago from some Indian girl I think is an assistant manager or something when they clearly are in desperate need of people. And had a “now hiring” table outside the store today (3) days later and she was sitting at it all day playing on her phone. Saying how bad they need people. Everyone is kind except that Indian overweight girl that works their. Would rate 5 stars if it wasn’t for her.
