Today I will go to this location, to try to open a new checking account and a new savings account, as well--to try to take advantage of the fat bonus, that Citizens Bank is offering me, for doing so. I cannot speak for the financially irresponsible person (in another review of this location), who tried to cash a large check at this location, instead of at their own bank (and, if they don't have a checking account at any other bank at all, they are completely financially irresponsible!) Because I would NEVER try to do that...
Nor can I speak for all of the OUTDATED reviews (that the idiots at Google have still left here, on this location)--now that the business has changed from HSBC to Citizens Bank (a totally different business, by the way!) But, what I can speak for is that it pays to be WELL EDUCATED (at least about business, grammar, arithmetic and English speaking abilities, that is)--if you want to do business with a bank, any bank--in today's world. For those who are not...you will always be at the mercy of businesses that will try to take advantage of you--no matter what your race or ethnic origin is. So, that being said--I hope that all of you who gave 1-star reviews to the former bank, at this location, or the relatively new bank, now at this location--will make more of an effort to EDUCATE THEMSELVES--and consequently will not fall into some of the unfortunate situations that I read about, listed here, in this plethora of 1-star reviews. After all--whose fault is it, anyway--if you are NOT EDUCATED enough, to deal with this bank, or any other bank, like this one?

Sherine and Raquel both have been extremely patient and helpful... more than I can say for the customer service call center which is nothing but a stressful hassle to say the least

Today going to this location to cash a check under this bank, my experience wasn’t that pleasant. Started off feeling welcomed then it went down hill.
Walking up to the desk.
desk clerk (a) hello how are you ?
Me and partner : we’re here to cash a check.
Desk clerk (a) do you have an account with us.
Me and partner: no we’re just here to cash this check.
Desk clerk (a) we will have to charge you a fee?
Me and partner: that’s fine
Desk clerk (a ) why don’t you cash this with your bank ? Do you live around here ?
Me and partner : this check is made out for here. Yes
Desk clerk: we don’t have enough money in our accounts to give you this, we can send you else where…. If I give you this money, I can’t give other people their money
I can call other banks to see if they can do this but we can’t ……
Me and partner : look at each out of confusion, but why can you take the money out ?
Desk clerk a) we don’t have enough money, we do not have big bills.
Me and partner: us okay that’s fine we don’t mind smaller bills.
Desk clerk a then comes out, talks to colleges about situation….
Cathy ✨✨ was really nice and passionate, after us being pushed on her … she said that they had small bills and they can make the transfer through the smaller bills.
Cathy then take us back to the desk clerk (a) and told her to continue the process with smaller bills.
We thanks Cathy and continue to work with desk clerk (a)
Desk clerk still express to us how they don’t have the money and she doesn’t understand why she’s taking it out and they didn’t have it..
Just for just to leave with what we ask for.
My point is when noticing a people that don’t love what they do or can’t keep their own judgement to themselves .
There are haters and lights in this world. If you can’t help everyone or figure it out, you shouldnt be in a field with All ethnicities.

I want to bank here because it's across the street from my home but I get a lot of people saying they experienced racism. I just want to know do anyone from the Hispanic or black community vouch that they have a great experience with this bank before I go open a account

Forced to use this bank after HSBC stopped being a bank. Fees for every little thing. I did not sign up for this type of thievery. Closed all accounts.

Extremely poor customer service. The employees behind the desk are always "in training" and unable to help. If you plan on going here, be prepared to take at least 1 hour out your day. Extremely long wait times since no one is available to help and doesn't seem to care.

The manager is really rude. Clearly prefers talking to male customers and is rude to female customers. He is dismissive and can’t be bothered to attend to a female’s concerns.

We have been with HSBC business banking since 2008. The in-branch bankers, behind the scenes customer service members, and business relationship bankers have all been wonderful! If I could rate this branch a zero, I would. I visited this branch yesterday as other branches have been closed down. The teller, an Indian woman, racially profiled me. The absolute WORST experience at HSBC. I am closing my account immediately and she should receive disciplinary action as a result.
