I never made it into this location but the service I received today from Stacey over the phone was so horrible I won't even go there. I called to see if we could just walk in or if we had to set up an appointment first. Stacey picks up, I told her I'm on my way with my fiancé to look at tux for my groomsmen but wanted to know if an appointment is required, she says yes her last appointment is at 5:30am when would I like to come in, me not understanding what exactly she meant I politely asked was she stating I could come in before 5:30pm or after her last appointment? She then says to me loudly and rudely "I said my last appointment is 5:30pm when would you like to come in"? So I said to her wait a minute, I'm a customer and I have been nice to you, I didn't answer what you meant and wanted to get clarification but I'll not accept this rude behavior, what's your name, she then pretend she can't hear me all of a sudden and says to me she can't hear me and hangs up. I then called back and her manager apologized for her rude behavior but that was very unacceptable. You don't talk to a customer like that then hang up on them. She shouldn't be in this type of business dealing with customers. I am getting my tux custom made but I was sending my groomsmen there but now they lost my business. I'll not shop there and the 2.5 stars on here explains it all and if you do don't work with Stacey, very rude and unprofessional.

The Men's wearhouse in Metuchen is one of my most pleasant experience in a clothing store. The Manager and staff are very welcoming. I have read bad reviews few months prior to my visit and I was suspicious on my visit but I must agree on the recent reviews that the management has been greatly changed. Manager Simmal took care of me like a family. He entertained me and my fiancee while we decide on my tuxedo for my wedding. We left the place without complaints and excited to come back.

Not one employee spoke to me or my fiancee after being there for 15 minutes in their establishment. Not a "Hello sir how can we help you?" Not a "Hello sir, we will be with in just a minute." Not even a "Hello ma'am. Is there anything we can do for you?" to my fiancee. I'm guessing it was the fact that we didn't look like anyone else in their establishment.

Read the review from three days ago, and it was spot on. The lady who works there during the day literally ignores you when you go there. She carries on personal conversations and seems like she's annoyed just to be there. What a horrible experience. Never going back.

Horrible Experience. I came to this men's warehouse on three separate occasions to get information on rentals and custom suits. I never got my questions answered or what can be provided at a Men's Warehouse in regards to services/rental. The staff at this location are not approachable nor have any idea about their product and/or services. If you have questions, you are then passed around from person to person (as every department appears to be their own identity.) On top of that, the staff will ignore you until one makes a fuss or become pushy for their attention. The last straw happened today (10/14/2019) when I came in hoping to speak to someone in rentals around 330 pm-400 pm. I wanted patiently as I observed the lady in rentals handling a customer. After she was finished, her personal phone rang, she answered it, put it on speaker and continued her speaker conversation. After her son told her he'll call her later, she then asked what she could do to help. I asked my question, she answered me and immediately left to go and help another customer. I was never done asking my questions and I also wanted to put a deposit on a rental for my wedding. Like seriously, did I just get ignored. She definitely needs a lesson on customer service. It is because of her that I will never deal with a men's warehouse. Unprofessional and horrible service.

My experience with Men’s Wearhouse was a positive one. I personally dealt with Lavette and she went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding party looked sharp, comfortable, and knew all the details for the big day.

Do not use men's Wearhouse!!! Staff and manager incompetent to take measurements correctly. Order wrong fit for entire wedding party. Had to scramble to get correct sizes bourse before the wedding. This company terrible!!!! DO NOT USE!!!!!!

We walked into the store and stood for 30mins and not a single employee acknowledged our presence. Promises of coupons and sent promotions were made and never delivered. One of the salesmen, Robert, assured me that he would work with us, made an appointment, and even gave me his number for contact. Never responded to me, and ignored my boyfriend and I when we came into the store. While they do have some good employees, such as Dane, they seriously need to re-examine quality customer service.

Needed a suit for a friends wedding, walked in at 3pm on a Tuesday, literally stood in the middle of the store for an extended period of time without an offer for help. Caught the attention of a salesperson named Dane that attempted to help but did not listen to my needs, I explained I was on a budget, $600, $700, $1500 is not budget. He appeared distracted, complaining of computer problems, etc. I tried on a suit, and feeling like I had no choice, settled. It felt baggy and boxy, but assumed when the “tailor” came to fit me that would be addressed. All the young woman could do was shorten the sleeves and hem the pants...nothing else could be corrected. At that point I just walked away. Very sad. I felt awful.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at this location thanks to Joseph Maiorano Jr. He made sure my husband's new grey suit fit perfectly. He then helped us find 3 shirts that fit well and 4 beautiful ties that were interchangeable. He did an amazing job, was beyond kind, and had great suggestions. One of the best clothing experiences either of us have ever had.

I walked into this store a few days ago with my son to buy him a whole new wardrobe! He needed a suit, shirt, tie, belt, socks and shoes for a wedding. I was going to also look for a suit for myself. We started looking around for awhile but really needed someone to help us. There was a group of people by the main counter having conversations mostly sales people. They were laughing and seemed to be having fun so I waited awhile. I figured one of them would have came over but no one did. I continued to look at suits and looking at prices ranging from $500-$700 which was a little much for me. I knew I must have been in the wrong section. After being there for 10 minutes I turned to my son and told him we are leaving. As we were walking out I thought someone would have stopped us to ask if we needed help but nothing. The store had only 2 customers and it was 11am in the morning. We ended up going across the street to Macy's and you can read my 5 star review. I gave this store 2 stars because of the big selection but customer service was disappointing!

Great experience working with Robert Rodriguez!! He made sure everything we wanted for my husband's tuxedo was perfect! The store did not carry my husband's shoe size and he went an extra mile to get the shoes from another men's warehouse store and shipped them to us. Very glad we got to work with him for our big day. Thank you Robert!! You are the best!!

I was here on 9/23 & I don't know why there's bad reviews on here but my experience was pretty awesome....first I had to rent a tux for my daughter sweet 16 party (it's a GASTBY THEME ) the lady was very much pleasant & very helpful!!!!second Robert & joe !!! Both gentlemen were awesome.....very busy on there that day but I got 2 suits helpful that's the word that comes to mind & if you ask me will I go back ...my answer is in a heartbeat!!! Enjoyed my visit there & will be back for shirts & casual stuff too !!!!!!

Literally waiting in the store now for the last 20 minutes while the salesman is trying to find one of the four suits my husband ordered. You would think if the receipts say they are ready for pickup tonight that all four suits would be together. And now the second salesman is running around the back of the store looking the suit. Maybe they’ll find it before the store closes.

Stay away! Tux fitting vs. actual rental not the same fit. Excuse we were given "it's a rental". Customer service is also lacking. Lady who helped us had an attitude and repeated "I've been doing this 11 years". Well she obviously hasn't learned how to treat unhappy customers in those 11 years.

First and last time. Bought a suit jacket for my husband and scheduled some alterations, advised the salesperson on our travel plans and was assured it would be ready for a date. When I came to pick up I was told to come back the next day. I advised I couldn't because of my travel plans, when I finally got a commitment for that evening I was ignored when I returned to pick up. Waited 15 mins by the register without being helped and received the jacket wrinkled. I'd rather take my money somewhere with better customer service.

Over-priced suites. You are better off going across the street to Menlo Park Mall. Macy's has better pricing!
