Beware of their service department. They tried to rip me off. My son took his car into to a mini dealer in LA for service before having it shipped back to NJ. They did a complete inspection, and found the frond ty rod was bent. Sent him the video showing the damage. They also performed a complete inspection and found nothing else wrong with the car. Unfortunately, they didn't have the parts in stock, so my son didn't get the car serviced there since the freight company was coming the next morning. I made an appointment with Mini of Edison to have the parts replaced. I then get a call from the service department indicating that not only were the Ty rods bad, but $5400.00 of other items needed to be replaced. I told them that the car was at the Mini Dealer in LA, and I have a video showing that the only thing that was wrong were the Ty rods, and that Mini of Edison was just trying to rip me off. I then get a call from the manager trying to back petal saying, "we didn't say the parts were bad and needed to be replaced now" we were just bringing this to your attention. All I can say is Please beware. These guys over charge for parts and service you don't need.

Repeated bad experiences with both Sales & Service. After 2 months, I still do not have my new car title. They made repeated mistakes on the original invoice. They were ignorant on what accessories were available. When following up on tasks Sales were supposed to have completed for purchase, I was told repeatedly they were busy & forgot. When installing accessories they left trash in my car (wire clippings, crumpled paper, glove box contents scattered about) & didn't bother to replace the fuse box panel & lost the rear wiring panel. I was told they would order a new panel but, after 2 weeks I know that's going to be a struggle too. If I had know this beforehand, I would have bought a car elsewhere. I have been in contact with BMW/MINI corporate customer service but it's still unresolved 2 months & counting. I would not recommend Mini of Edison to anyone. It really stinks & the staff profoundly could care less. I'm

I went in for an oil change last week and when I saw they were owned by by "open road" I got nervous. I had such a bad experience with open road mini of Morristown that I was nervous to move forward. But I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and not shady everyone was. I'll probably come back every year for my oil change to be honest. Great service all around

I had so much trouble getting Mini of Edison to do maintenance on my mini. I initially bought my mini used from a reliable dealership of another vehicle brand which I will go back to buy brand new especially because mini of Edison failed to do the maintenance work that I asked of them. When I first brought my mini to them, I asked for them to give it an oil change as well as go over the entire vehicle by checking if there's anything mechanically wrong with it. I also asked them to change out all of the fluids so that I knew my car was properly maintained. They called me up stating that all of the work was done and that I could come to pick it up. I picked the car up and less than a week later the oil light was on. I asked for them to check it out and they said that there was an oil leak in the hose. I asked them why they didn't catch this old leaky hose before and that's when the excuses came out. They said they used an outside vendor. To keep this short, I had trouble and heard their lame excuses the entire 1&1/2 year of my owning the car. They NEVER gave it an oil change or properly maintained my car upon my numerous requests. Now I have to replace the motor thanks to their negligence! NEVER BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE!!!

Brought my car because my back brakes were on tier 2 to replace them. After an evaluation they told me there were numerous issues. I asked which were the ones that needed to be fixed now. They said the thermostat. I was having no issues with anything with the thermostat but decided to trust them. They said the brakes could wait. Repairs cost me around $1,000. Took my car the my regular mechanic today because my brakes were making noises and I had to pay $1,200 to replace brakes, rotates, sensor, caliper & hose. They said this should of come up at the dealership & I didn't need to replace the thermostat. NEVER go there, they robbed me & didn't service my car on what needed to be done. Go to KPS Garage instead

I'm writing this review for the service department! I have an old MINI with over 100,000 miles on it so it's time to replace some parts. I had a multi-point inspection done and really appreciated the video that they sent me along with a report of the mechanic going over and showing me everything that needs to be replaced. It's not cheap but totally worth it to have this done by the dealer. Also when I got my car back it was vacuumed and super clean! Thank you!

Just purchased two Mini Cooper S Countryman for myself and my wife. I got the Island Blue and my wife the Chili Red. The purchase went smooth. There were no issues with anyone from the salesman, Omar, the manager, Rob, to the finance person, Kal. Prior to us picking up the two Minis, no one pressured us to buy now. They gave us their best deal and stuck to that price. Not once did it go up, except when we added additional coverage. We had previously visited Mini of Morristown, Ramsey and here to see what was on the lot. Than after reading the reviews we picked this location. They did not disappoint. I recommend them. I will update this review after we experience the service department. But after the professionalism of the front end, I doubt service will disappoint either.

My car had problems with the engine that a local mechanic was unable to identify. The check engine light was on and I was very concerned so I made my way to Mini of Edison. They were very kind and helpful, and although it was very expensive the work done was legit. They also detailed the inside of my car which was amazing!

Excellent experience with Jake and Kal...I'd highly recommend this dealership! Very friendly, thorough, and got us into a new MINI pain-free. They offered a fair deal for my trade-in, and there were no real hidden fees (fairly standard VIN etching fee and doc fee). We got the car we wanted with no sales pressure and just simple, efficient and friendly service throughout the process. They've even offered to look into a prior issue that I had with another MINI dealer to see if we could get a few bucks back from a GAP insurance cancellation from long ago that never went through. MINI of Edison offered all you could want from a dealership, at least on the front end/purchase side. Expecting service if/when it comes to that to also be friendly, efficient and fairly priced.

We had an excellent overall experience leasing a 2022 Mini Cooper for my wife.Jake Schiller was very informative, professional and expert on his dealing with us. Also Kal made the signing process of agreements and contracts seem less as his explanation and professionalism showed throughout. These 2 individuals need to be noticed among their colleagues and managers.
