From start to finish, great overall experience with Mike Hui! Will be bringing my friends to him for business. He sent me pictures of the car before my test drive and was extremely patient even though the process extended past close. He made sure to bring the car into the light so I could examine it fully and feel comfortable about my purchase. Most importantly, he walked me through optional packages which I decided not to get this time, and never once made me feel like they were necessary for the deal to go through (as other dealerships in the area do). Will be buying from Mike again for sure

Just had my first experience with Open Road Honda and it was a huge success. Extremely happy with my new lease. I dealt with Harold, Nick and Alisia and they were all phenomenal - very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, customer-service-driven and not pushy whatsoever. They provided an all-around smooth experience and I will absolutely be going back for my next lease. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best dealership experience thanks to Joe We’ve bought with Honda for over 20 years and this was the best service we’ve ever received. I’d highly recommend asking for Joe. He was so attentive to our needs, so patient with us when we had questions, and made us feel so welcomed. He helped us find the best car fit for me and my family and he was so knowledgable. Purchasing a car can be stressful. But having the RIGHT salesperson makes a huge difference. I highly recommend Einar 100% from open road Honda at Edison. He is genuine, professional, excellent with people skills and very understandable. My son was purchasing his very first vehicle and Einar made him feel comfortable. He gave us his undivided attention and explained the whole process of paperwork with such patience. We are very grateful and I personally will recommend him to anyone that want to experience at ease.

Super happy with the car I was able to get and my seller, he was really kind and smart salesman. He helped me choose the best option out of the 2 cars that I was looking at. Friendly, pleasant, and willing to work with you. These are not the words most people would use to describe their new car buying experience at a dealership. My experience at Open Road Honda was all of the above and more. VJ was an outstanding salesperson - friendly and helpful while I made my final choice. Once a decision was made, I worked with VJ and Nick (Sales Manager) on the details of the contract. I was in good hands with Kevin (Sales & Leasing Consultant) as he helped me take advantage of a great financing offer. The entire experience took less than 3 hours from the time I walked in the door to the time I walked out with the contract in my hand. I picked up the car the next day. I would highly recommend the sales team at Open Road Honda.

This is the only place I'll go to and recommend to my family and friends to buy a car. I went with a friend and they answered all of our many questions. The people there are so fun and friendly to work with, I feel like I can trust them and actually enjoy the process of going. Michael Cislo in particular helped me and was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Also, a young woman named Chelsea helped me out and was such a joy to work with. I felt like she really cared about my experience as a customer. I rarely write reviews for places but wanted to make sure these people get the recognition they deserve. Thank you both!

We've been looking for a car at Honda Dealership for many days now and have been wanting to be a serious buyer. Our sales consultant, Sergio, was very patient and eager towards his customers. When encountered with Manolo, another sales consultant/ position, was rude. Laughed at us when we wanted to discuss a price. Regardless of whether there is no agreement on prices - sales consultants should make their customers feel welcomed. Unfortunately, this wasn't our experience with Honda's managers at route 1. We were laughed at and "dismissed" when we wanted to sit down and have a discussion, and in the middle of the conversation he got up and walked away. He also said "is this a grocery store? Do you want to buy a car or not?" In no way, is this a manner to speak to a customer. He also laughed and walked away when we wanted to discuss prices and negotiate at reasonable budget. This is not how you TALK to customers whether or not you agree with the pricing; you should never laugh mockingly and walk away from your customer rudely. Regardless, I hope you all have a better experience than we did. I hope Honda Route 1 can take this constructive criticism and use it to gain better interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence when it comes to speaking to serious buyers. It's a people-skill every sales consultant should learn and try to obtain. I'm hoping the upper management and consultants like Manolo can take this experience as a way to learn and become kinder individuals to customers - regardless of their race, appearance, and language.

On 8/31/23 at 11:39 AM I called Open Road Honda in Edison (the dealer I bought my new car from) to schedule an oil change & tire rotation. She booked me for 9/8/23 at 9:00 AM and a few minutes later I got the confirmation txt with the date and time of my appointment. Friday morning 9/8/23, I got there around 8:50 AM while doing the paper work I was asked if I was going to wait or come back for the car to which I replied that I had an appointment & it's only for an oil change & tire rotation so I was going to wait. He said we are very busy today and there are lot of cars in front of you so it can take up to 3 or 4 hours. I reminded him that I was not a walk in, and I had an appointment. He then told me that they don't schedule appointments Monday through Friday & that they only schedule appointments for Saturday. He said that Monday through Friday where only walk-ins & it was first come first serve & since they had been opened since 7:00 AM there were a lot of cars in front of me. I showed him the confirmation txt that clearly says "Dear Belkis, Your Service appointment Friday, September 8, 2023, 09:00 AM". The number is clearly on the top of the txt 1-732-943-1966 but he just said they shouldn't have scheduled it. I told him that they are the ones who messed up & how I had taken time off work to come but no one there cared. I told the person at the front desk, and she said the same thing. When I went to get my car back, I mentioned it to two other people (one looked like they might have been a supervisor by the way he was dressed) but they both said the same thing. No one cared that I had a txt confirmation, no one cared that they were wrong, and no one cared that I had taken time off work.

I purchased a 2024 Honda CRV EX and I love it! Thanks to Stanley Moe! This is my eighth purchase from Open Road Honda in Edison. He does a great job with going over all of the details such as the exterior and interior of the car! It’s always a great experience with him! Very nice, patient and knowledgeable! Stanley Moe is the best!
