“I started using this pharmacy end July 2025 to take advantage of the free 30 days certain generic drugs and upgraded to plus.
The medication was ready in 30 minutes while I shopped. Will update review in the next few months as I use the refill process.
The savings compared with my local pharmacy through drug insurance and Sam’s club zero charge 30 days no insurance is more than sufficient to recoup the Sam’s club plus annual charges.”

“What a wonderful place. While I was waiting on my prescription, a lady came in with complaints of pain in her knee. She had just had surgery. She asked the pharmacist where she could purchase an ice pack, and the pharmacist prepped and gave her one for free!! Kindness and compassion. You don’t get that at CVS or Walgreens.”

“The pharmacist on 12/05/23 is an amazing pharmacist, if not the most amazing I’ve ever encountered. She would assist customers immediately and she obviously knows how to prioritize her duties. She also seems great with kids because she took the time to include my kid with the choosing of flavor for his medicine. She is awesome and the most helpful. On our way out, the staff by the cashier gave us a big smile while telling us to have a nice day. The staff in this Rite Aid rocks.”

“Had a flat that needed to be fixed from a set of tires bought at Sam's Club in Freehold. Tried to call the Freehold store but they would not pick up the phone. Curtis at Sam's Tire store in Edison picked up and told us to come right in. He took care of us on a busy Sunday afternoon in spite of being very crowded.”

“Stopped by this CVS expecting a quick errand to turn into a headache (as it sometimes does with pharmacies), but I was pleasantly surprised. I had a question about switching to a generic version of my medication, and the pharmacy tech, her name was Tavleen, actually took the time to break down the differences and explain it to me like a human. No attitude, no rushing me off. Just calm, respectful customer service. It made a stressful day a little easier.”

“I recently tranferred to Shoprite Pharmacy in Edison. They are the most pleasant, efficient, customer focused pharmacy that I have dealt with in many years. Every pharmacist and pharmacy assistant I have dealt with so far, has been patient and respectful, and has been willing to work with me to find the most cost efficient way for me to fill my many prescriptions, including those that are over the counter.
They have answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently. For the first time in years, getting my prescriptions filled no longer feels like an anxiety producing ordeal.I truly appreciate the professional, respectful, helpful, and stress free service they provide. I wish i had discovered them sooner, and hope my initial positive experience continues well into the future.
(My only complaint is that the pharmacy section is almost as far from the entrance as one could get. This has posed a challenge for me in terms of my limited mobility. I hope that particularly as a pharmacy, they address this accessibility issue soon, and reopen the entrance nearer to the pharmacy)”

Went in person saw my usually pharmacy tech and he took care of the issue. I wish I remembered how to spell his name because he is the best and always knows how to resolve issues without too much fuss.

Had to go back to this pharmacy when Edison pharmacy closed. I e had okay experiences when it was a straight forward fill.
Walgreens did not have all of my medicine so they gave me a partial fill (1 month) had to come back the following week for the remaining amount. Missed the pickup window due to the holidays and they are unable to fill the remaining amount. They blame the insurance.
This was the reason I originally left.
Anything that is outside of a typical fill is always an issue”

“I don't know why others are complaining. I always get good service here at this location. The pharmacy staff are always very helpful, especially when it comes to verifying my insurance and making sure I don't pay more than I need to. As far as long lines, it's all about timing. Don't show up at 5 or 6 when everyone is coming by on their way home from work. Every place is short staffed, so I applaud any employee that actually goes to work. Keep up the good work and don't let others bring you down.”
