They also run many specials/deals and raffles and have a reward system too. I drive 2 hours to get here and its worth it every couple months when my stock is low.”

“This is a great store. I've been using it for about a year since I moved to this area. Staff are friendly. However, can the manager please tell the cashiers to remind everyone that each register has a line! Or perhaps you could put a sign? I used to go to the one in Union (which is much busier) but the cashiers always made announcements that each register had a line. Thank you.”

“First time at this store and I was pleasantly surprised. It's huge. They have foods from all over the world. It's primarily a Spanish product store but they have everything. Their meat department is the nicest I've ever seen. You can tell it's super fresh. Produce aisle is spectacular. The store is immaculate. “In the sleepy little town of South River, who knew that you could find a treasure trove of authentic Portuguese restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. Cavaco Supermarket is known in town as the go-to Portuguese deli, grocery, and bakery. The shelves are even stocked with products imported from Portugal. On the front counter, you'll find a variety of fresh baked breads, codfish fritters and turnovers, pastries, as well as of course espresso. In addition, they are a churrasqueria and offer delicious BBQ chicken, served in a giant tray over rice and fries. Their pastries, such as their bola de berlim and pastel de nata I'm not too much of a fan of compared to other spots in town, but their chicken and codfish fritter was delicious and their fries are even fresh cut. Take a look at their various imported goods and merchandise and you'll certainly be surprised!”
“I really had a spectacular time that day at this lake, which I visited for the first time with my daughter and family. It was a very hot day that asked you to be in a place like this. This place is beautiful, fresh, it has its tables, food places and your drinks if you want. So anyone who wants to spend time with their family and in a quiet and cozy place is this one.”

And it's dominican cooking the food not hired help from south of the border cooking.
They serve the best pernil, the best ox tails, empanadas, steak sandwiches.
I travel far to come here to get authentic Dominican food.”

“I was visiting my parents house in Old Bridge when I had to shop at ShopRite of Old Bridge. The parking lot is huge but when I went in here it wasn’t crowded. They have a lot of carts for customers but I didn’t see any baskets so I just got a cart anyway. The store is super clean and big! I love their Fresh produce section. Their fruits and salads tasted really good. While I was there I spotted a coupon that was expired tomorrow and it said coupon for Lays chips for only $3.99. That was a really good deal so I got some lays. Another good thing was the dairy/freezer section. The aisles are so wide and big. They have so many checkouts so they don’t have to have a line. I had a good experience at this ShopRite.”

Then I saw the excellent Produce section and the Hair Care section, realizing this is the closest I've been to a 1-stop shopping place. They have a vast selection for every item one could need or want. And the prices are not bad at all (the 18-count cage-free brown eggs carton is $4.99 today). Better yet is the friendly and professional care given me by Miguela, the Customer Service Representative. She helped me with an exchange after a brief return/exchange store policy explanation, then promptly rang other items I picked. Please commend her on my behalf. Certainly I will be back here soon... ???”
