2 Things: Last week, witnessed a manager talk down on an employee(young lady). In addition, I was in the parking lot preparing to leave. It was very dark, cold, and rainy out. I see the girl I saw behind the register without any raincoat or reflective gear on collecting carts. I know she was being mistreated because I remember seeing an employee with a jacket with reflectors on it a while back. I believe it was a guy; so why would they send a young lady out unprotected? That is dangerous. I would never allow my daughter to work there. The young lady was black and no I'm not a black person, but I would never mistreat anybody. I honestly think they treated her that way because of that. Very shameful. I wont be back!! Corporate, do something.

A few days ago, I went shopping at TJ Maxx. During checkout, the cashier told me that if I applied for a rewards card, I could get a 10% discount. I thought this was just a regular rewards card like other retailers offer, so I agreed to apply. Everything seemed fine, and within three minutes, they informed me that my application was approved. It was only then that the cashier mentioned that this was actually a credit card with a $300 limit.
I was furious because, during the entire time she pitched the rewards card to me, she never once mentioned that it was a credit card. Her attitude was dismissive, as if she didn't care about my concerns. I asked to speak with her manager, only to find out that the manager had been standing right beside her, witnessing the whole thing without intervening. The manager also told me, with a helpless look, that the credit card had already been issued and that they couldn’t help me cancel it on the spot—I would need to call the credit card center myself.
This is a complete scam, and based on how smoothly they handled the situation, it’s clear this isn’t the first time they’ve done this. They are repeat offenders. I unknowingly opened a credit card that I didn't need. Even if I cancel it, the fact that I opened a credit card will have a lasting negative impact on my credit score. Both the cashier and the manager at this store are deceptive. I am extremely disappointed, and there’s no way to undo the damage done. My trust in TJ Maxx has been completely shattered.

Horrible experience!! I go to this tjmax store for many years, and I was never mistreated.
This employee named Megan was very disrespectful, and rude to me. She was out of control. I am very surprised, she works as a cashier. You should hire people who has good manners, education, and respect for people. Discriminatory behavior should not be tolerated. Customers don't need aggravation from nobody. She needs to learn how to work for people from different ethnicities. I work with patients, and I am super respectful to everybody. As a big company you shouldn't hire people with attitude problems. After the incident, she kept talking to another client about the problem. She doesn't even have respect for her own supervisor. There are people who really need the job.

Absolutely the worse store I have ever been, the manager is Extremely rude and very unprofessional. I both a luggage for 129 use it ones and the wheel broke off , I was told that I should get in contact with the manufacturer and there’s nothing they can do that. I should have read the warranty and I should be aware of luggage problem in the most rudest way. I Will never go back to this location specially if they have this type of ( Manager) working in there

One of my favorite tj maxx stores in the tri state area, and trust me, I shop them all! The staff is incredible and managers extremely friendly and courteous. Had a minor receipt issue and within an hour Tammy had called me back with a resolution. I routinely shop here and the store is always clean, organized and well stocked. Thank you!
