My law firm does estate and probate work. We have been using Urbach & Avraham CPAs to handle the accounting of this work and have been very pleased. U&A is extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and on top of each matter. Unlike many CPA firms, they know how to do formal accounting for the court. U&A gives me peace of mind and confidence in the accounting portion of estate and probate work and I recommend them without reservation.

I was the executor of my wife's cousins New Jersey Will / estate. Living out of state I was very lucky to find the firm of Urbach and Avraham. Pamela and Claire were a godsend with their guidance, efforts, hard work and support in putting together and providing the information required to successfully maneuver through the New Jersey estate distribution and inheritance taxes mine field.

Recently I was two days from closing on the sale of a property my father had inherited 10yrs ago and was told by the title company that I needed a NJ inheritance tax waiver form from 2014. I called Pamela and within 15 minutes she was able to locate the form and email it to me and avoided a major problem. I couldn’t believe that they still had his file. Saved the day. Top notch service and I would definitely recommend using them.

Not the friendliest, very short and vague via email, took days to get calls scheduled to discuss matters, really wasn't much help what's so ever. Wouldn't recommend.

As an attorney, I have the opportunity to deal with accounting firms semi regularly. I worked with Jeff Urbach years ago in connection with a mutual divorce client and Jeff provided wonderful support at that time. Over the last 2 weeks I have had the pleasure to work with Pamela Avraham on an accounting for one of my probate clients. To say that she was wonderful to deal with would be an understatement. She was professional, prompt, and most of all , she caught all of the mistakes that were made in the accounting and she fixed them. Thank you Pamela! This firm has my highest endorsement!

I can not say enough positive things! I have been dealing with some difficult to navigate estate matters and around every corner is someone with their hand out to take money for morsels of information until I spoke with Urbach & Avraham! I completed an online request for a consultation and to my surprise I received a response at 10PM at night(30 minutes after I completed to request)! After speaking with them via the phone the next day I received important information and due to the simplicity of what I needed they were honest and advised me how to complete what I needed without charge! I feel I was very fortunate to reach out to them and deal with someone with high integrity which is very hard to come by these days. Thank you so much for your assistance and I look forward to any future dealings we may have!

I have known this accounting firm for about 20 years and have found them to be professional and personable (the second trait is important when dealing with finances/ taxes which can sometimes be a topic one would rather avoid. they make it a manageable process). They're thorough and quick to handle correspondence I've received from the government ... some routine matters that I'd rather put off. They've handled our personal taxes as well as our S-Corp. I have had dealings with several of the accountants and found the operation seamless when coordinating with any of them. They've alerted me on matters, I didn't have the experience to even ask about. A top notch office which stays on the cutting edge of a wide range of topics - like trusts, guardianship and business valuations.

To anyone who reads this: As a former practicing accountant, it was not easy to find an accounting firm that I was comfortable with. After speaking with both Pamela and Claire I knew I had found the people I was looking for. They took care of a family estate filing. They are on retainer, filing the trust accounts resulting from that estate, and provide professional service for all our family matters. In other words, a firm you can reach out and talk to, that will provide incredible accounting and tax expertise at fair and reasonable fees.

Fantastic. SO wonderful to work with. For me they had to do taxes for two different states, some investment real estate and some primary residence. Then they had to deal with kids who are in college, deferred medical expenses, and real estate purchases.
