This is the worst Walgreens I've ever been in. To get a prescription takes forever. They can never find your prescription and always mess up on your insurance. They are not friendly or polite. Half the time they never had my prescriptions in stock. I finally had enough with Walgreens the manager was useless. Also when you get your medication. I would count it to make sure it's the right quantity.I've had one or two pills occasionally missing especially on opiates and on muscle relaxers controlled substance pills. If you want a pharmacy that you can trust I would recommend BOYT drugs on Main Street in Metuchen. They can do everything Walgreens can do with shots and vaccinations. Plus they have been there since the 1960s. It's also nice that they have free delivery if you are busy and can't make it to pick up your prescription.

Worst customer service possible. Be prepared to always wait a min of 30mins when purchasing an item. The lines are always outrageous, not enough staff or attention to the influx of customers. On top of that the pharmacy staff take a lifetime to assist you and fill prescriptions. Good luck trying to get someone on the phone they never answer constant hold.

Pharmacy staff is rude and unorganized. Waited over an hour for my vaccine appointment and they didn't even have the product needed.

Fifteen minutes and counting on hold trying to talk to the pharmacy. Now all of a sudden it says the pharmacy is closed for meal break. Do they purposely not answer the phone 15 minutes before the pharmacist goes on break??? Horrible customer service.

I visited it because I took advantage of my stay in the USA to get the covid vaccine. I got Pfizer. Everything was very efficient, I made my appointment the same day and an hour later they were already applying it to me. The staff was very friendly and understanding of the fact that we were foreigners.

They made me wait 30 mins unnecessarily for a scheduled vaccine appointment. After 30 mins, they just told me that the vaccine is unavailable. Absolutely pathetic behavior. They don't respect your time. I will avoid this location going forward and I suggest you do.

Today I called the pharmacy about a prescription and was continuously put on hold, never spoke to anyone. This was not the first time. Finally I had it, got in my car and drove there still on hold. went to the help window and watched the girl put me hold hold 2 additional times before anyone helped me. almost 30min and 13 holds. When I was finally asked if they could help me I held my phone up and told them the call they’ve been putting on hold for 1/2 hour is me, hung up and watched the hold light go out. I was on hold for so long I was able to drive here. The explanation was they were too busy. Ive had my prescriptions filled there for many years and yes it is always busy. 4 people between the 3 girls and a pharmacist and no one could take a call for almost 30min? That is terrible customer service. There is no reasonable explanation for that. Why have a phone? I watched her just walk by and hit the hold button without even stopping or considering picking it up, and then she didn’t even have the consideration to help me. They had no idea who was on the other end, could’ve been a doctor calling for a patient or a senior that needed help. Glad your business is so busy you can afford to lose a regular customer. I go in there all the time, not just for prescriptions. Never again.

Horrible service. First of all, this Walgreens was never remodeled. I think it's the original store that was built in the 60s. The wait times are always 20-30 min. The pharmacy has the WORST staff I have ever experienced. At other Walgreens, they are helpful, speedy, and efficient. This one, they only have 2 people working and one of those people is the pharmacist who is frequently on the phone or filling scripts.

If I could give a zero I would. They are completely useless. I don't usually give poor reviews, I just stop using the services, but I want to give warning. This place always has a line. Never gets anything right the first time. Spent 3 hours in and out of the pharmacy.... Booo

They advertise Fedex drop offs but can't even scan a QR code. I had a drop off package at their Fedex kiosk and they said they couldn't pack or scan my QR code, not even print the label even though I had confirmation their location could do this. I wish they'd update their services.

They have not updated their website or Yelp entry to indicate that they are NOT open 24 hours c they close at 12pm and provide no signage offering 24 hour alternatives. Extremely irresponsible. No less than 4 cars pulled up while I was walking back to my car.

If you enjoy going to your pharmacy and being told it will be 45 minutes, you give them an hour and a half, and then they tell you you need to wait longer because the pharmacist went to lunch. This is the place for you. You lost a customer today Walgreens.

The pharmacy at this Walgreens is beyond absolutely horrible and an embarrassment to the company. During my visit last night I was given multiple different reasons for my script not being available, and each time one was resolved, another problem would present itself. This is a CONSTANT issue with this pharmacy and I am truly at my wit's end. I've been a customer at this location for decades and I keep saying I'm going to leave after every horrible pharmacy experience. I've had wrong scripts filled, scripts cancelled and lied to as to why they were cancelled, been given different excuses by different staff members, within a matter of minutes apart, been told that there is not enough stock to fill a script when the script had been called in DAYS before hand, been told my doctors office had been contacted when in fact they had not, as well as many, MANY other ridiculous experiences with this pharmacy. This hasn't been with just any one specific medication, or only medications classified under various controls, but rather across the board with at LEAST 75% of the interactions I've had, as well as friends and family members have had, over the past few years with this pharmacy. This pharmacy has always had challenges, but these days they seem to get worse by the minute. The HUGE blaring issue with this pharmacy is COMMUNICATION. There is a SEVERE breakdown of communication between the pharmacy and the customers, the pharmacy and the healthcare providers, and amongst the staff members themselves. It's absolutely atrocious. Why have I continued to go back? Simply because it's auch a hassle changing to another pharmacy when all your doctors have been sending your meds to the same pharmacy for years. Tell the staff to STOP lying to customers and making up excuses. When one pharmacy associate tells you "we will get the medication in 2 days" and the other tells you "we only get deliveries on these particular 2 days of the week." It's obvious someone is just making things up as they go along. I've had pharmacists themselves tell me, over the phone, that a particular situation involving an error or issue with a medication, was being resolved, and then sent someone to pick up the medication for me, only to have them told, by the SAME pharmacist (not a pharmacy tech, mind you), that they never even spoke to me. I've submitted medications for refill via the app, that were suddenly deleted from record completely, only to go into the store and be told "there were no refills left," at which point I would have to actually show them the bottle from the last fill which indeed showed the refill, to THEN be told "it was actually deleted because it expired, we don't do refills after 30 days" at which point I pointed out that it was actually only 29 days, to THEN be told "oh, well we don't have it in stock." What kind of SIDESHOW circus act is going on behind the counter at this pharmacy?! Issues happen, I understand that, but CLEAR AND HONEST COMMUNICATION is key. Don't belittle the customers by just tossing out whatever excuses come to mind, thinking the customer will just accept it and patiently wait. This is a REGULAR occurrence with this pharmacy. Many people who don't have as much interaction with this pharmacy may accept whatever empty excuses are thrown their way, but when a customer like myself is a regular customer who frequents the pharmacy often, it becomes way to clear that they are spewing whatever excuses they can come up with. Every time I have a bad experience, I say I'm going to leave, yet I keep going back. Will I leave as a customer after this recent debacle? Hopefully. Hopefully I find the strength to go through all the tedious red tape involved in switching everything to another pharmacy. Hopefully I find that strength to leave this abusive relationship between store location and customer. It's absolutely infuriating and I will GLADLY go into more detail if anyone in upper corporate managemen

Always a long line at the pharmacy. They never answer the phone when you call. I’m sure I’m not the only one complaining about this. Get your act together please
