I was in the market for a new vehicle as my current Nissan lease was up in January. I did my research and gave Mazda a try since Car and Driver rated it so favorably. I started at a different dealership and wasn't happy with the salesman. I decided to drive the 45 minutes here from Gloucester Township. I knew what I wanted so I came prepared. My salesman name was Alan. Alan was the perfect mix of knowledge, assertive but not aggressiveness and personality. I read the previous reviews, sure, the Finance manager was nice , she had great reviews but I didn't buy my car here because of her highlighting skills and protection plan knowledge. I bought my car here because of Allen. He related to me and he treated me like a person, not just a sale. More importantly, I related to him and he made me feel comfortable that he knew what he was talking about and that he wanted me to get the best deal I could. The car buying process isn't my favorite but I love my new Carbon edition Turbo CX-5. I was inclined to write a review specifically about Allen because of the way I felt dealing with him. His partner Doug helped him at times when he was busy, and Doug is a nice guy, but I made my purchase at Chapman because of my initial experience dealing with the salesman. The building itself it beautiful, clean, friendly and filled with stock and it made the car buying process a lot easier than the previous 4 dealerships I went to last week. The sales manager, Mike was a nice friendly person also and everyone there made me feel good about this dealership. If you are looking for a new vehicle, first off, go with a Mazda! The price for what you get is top notch! And the people there made the experience better. And for the record, I don't know any of them or had ever been there before but I went with them even though I had a slightly better deal to a place that was closer to my home because they were better at what they do than the other dealership down the pike.

had a great experience here buying my first car on my own! Erika answered all of my questions, wasn’t pushy, and helped me get the best price possible for my vehicle and make sure it was everything I wanted! Everyone I interacted with was kind and helpful and I can’t say enough great things!

Ericka, my sales professional, was phenomenal!From the start of the process to the very end of my purchase experience, she was extremely knowledge about the Mazda CX5 GT. I am so elated about my purchase! After my purchase was complete, she gave me technology classes to help me understand my vehicle. I even needed some additional help and she FaceTimed me after business hours and was able to walk me through my issue.I will DEFINITELY be recommending Chapman Mazda and ESPECIALLY Ericka to all my friends and family.

The staff was top notch and very friendly. They explained terms patiently and also didn't mind looking up different information for me to make the best choice while other dealerships can be visibly impatient when asking. They were kind, considerate and polite. Definitely recommended.

Extremely happy, relieved, and satisfied with the excellent service I received after stopping in without an appointment after our car experienced a mechanical breakdown on a cross country trip.They immediately took the car in, called me with the diagnosis, ordered the parts and installed the next day. Truly exemplary service. Other dealers along the way quoted days or weeks to even look at our vehicle. Thank you Juan my service advisor who coordinated everything to perfection.

Fall maintenance package on their website didn't specify the oil change was with blended synthetic. Had to cancel that on arrival. Was told I needed new tires immediately and given two options of tires, both of which aren't very good.On my way home my TPMS light comes on even though I filled the tires with air and set the TPMS system correctly that morning before going to Chapman Mazda. So I had to stop at the gas station again and do it all over. The cap on one of my tires was so loose I'm surprised it didn't fall off.I can get tires that are far superior for half the price and have someone else install them. I made my ride wait outside for a long time while one of your employees attempted to upsell me on tires and other maintenance packages.Not happy to say the least. I'll give a 4 star rating because the work that I've had done in the past has been done well and there are good people working there.EDIT: 4/13/23The parts department is great. Very nice people, my part was delivered early and in excellent condition. Now I can listen to music while driving again! Thank you very much.

Doug the salesperson was very helpful; however, I was extremely disappointed when I arrived and only 4 Mazda Suvs we’re on the lot to choose from. Prior to visiting I received text and email messages stating “check out our large stock”. I truly love my Mazda and Chapman has always been top notch. This was the third time this happened. Another waste of a ride from Cape May and hours taken off from work. I don’t appreciate the sales pitch nor do I appreciate my excitement being squashed again.

Purchased our 3rd Mazda from Chapman recently. I can't say it enough how easy it is to purchase a car from these guys. We received a great price right up front each time and delivery is pleasant and professional. Alan assisted us this time around and I would definitely recommend him to everyone. Perfect buying experience from beginning to end. Lovely dealership, professional & courteous staff who go the extra mile. They cleaned the car inside and out so that it felt like I was buying a brand new vehicle. Erica who took me on a test drive was brilliant, patient and genuinely cared about my enjoyment of the vehicle and getting the best out of it. Greg who pulled the whole experience together was brilliant too. Highly highly recommend going here for any car purchase.

My husband and I arrived early (Hector Martinez) and a friendly gentleman opened the door for us we went to the front desk and we were greeted very nice and we would have to wait no problem, then a lady said she would help us, OMG so negative, she said we would not be able to be helped with our buy out lease, I wanted to leave, then a very nice man with a Irish accent talked with her then us , we were to see a suv with the young lady as soon as we got outside she stated we will not get any help because we needed 5000.00 down period I cried, why is she there to hurt people's feelings

My local Mazda dealership in PA was trying to do a trade for a 2021 Mazda Miata that Chapman had in stock. The dealership refused to trade with my local PA dealership. That evening I called and talk to a female sales person who said we don’t sell any of our cars from under MSRP. I called back and wanted to speak to the manager and she says well the managers gonna say the same thing but she took the message and called me back. And she was correct this dealership will not sell you a Mazda Miata I am not sure about any other models but at least a Mazda Miata for under MSRP. The sales manager said we handpick our Miatas. Anyway I was able to locate the same exact car in Maryland and they were as nice as could be and sold me the car for invoice. The ironic thing about Chapman is their slogan is if you buy a car from somebody else you probably paid too much. Actually it is the complete opposite it should say if you buy a car from Chapman you definitely pay too much.

I can’t say enough bad things about Chapman mazda the level of service I have received since I got my new car has been appalling.Sales Mgr. Greg Rawlings Has not returned one of my phone calls the minute you sign the paperwork they do not want to even know your name.My sales person completely misrepresented the features that are offered on the CX 5.You can have documentation in the form of photographs of problems you are having with your vehicle and the service department will insist that it is not true.My 2020 CX 5 has door panels that are falling off neither Chapman mazda or even Mazda themselves will NOT stand behind their product. A car that supposedly has a bumper-to-bumper warranty does not and they expect you to pay for damages caused by manufacture defect’s or submit them to your own insurance company.I have purchased many cars in my lifetime and I can say that I have never received such terrible customer service Or have been treated with such disrespect.If someone is absolutely set on buying a Mazda do yourself a favor go anywhere for Chapman mazda and honestly do yourself a favor find a different manufacturer.This CX5 was one of 8 different Mazda’s over the years and will absolutely be the last.Thank you Chapman Mazda u are most definitely the worst car dealership I’ve ever come across.Good luck to all that works there!!!!
