My family has been using this CVS location for close to 20 years. My husband had 3 teeth pulled on 6/23/2023 went to CVS to hand in his paper script and was told that they had NO pain killers at all. The pharmacist yelled from her podium to go to Walgreens or Riteaid He had a mouth full of blood asked the pharmacist to please come over to talk instead of yelling. He asked her to please call the dentist to change or order something else and he would go and get it. They didn't want to help him The other employees were ganging up on him and at one point one employee looked as if she was trying to push him out. Then the manager came over and asked him to leave. My husband is diabetic and on multiple medications that come along with having diabetes. He called me from his car SO upset I thought he was having a heart attack. His mouth was filled with blood and it was everywhere. I told him I would get the pain killer for him and to go home. I eventually switched all of our medications over to Shoprite. Idk what happened. My husband needed help and he couldn't believe that a CVS had absolutely NO pain killers whatsoever! This was in Friday 6-23-23 at approximately 12:30-1 pm. I'm am extremely disappointed In CVS Pharmacy that I will never shop there again! I know there's two sides to every story but my husband needed help and everyone treated him terribly! We have a business ourselves and our customers mean everything to us. I've never written a yelp review and unfortunately this is my first. It's sad that this transaction didn't go smoothly as it should have. Just a simple drop off wait and leave. I love buying makeup at CVS and now I'll have to shop elsewhere! I am deleting my CVS app too.

Not only is nothing ever in stock, one of their employees tells me they refuse to hire enough people to keep the shelves stocked despite having the inventory for most of it and not actually being out of it. The night crew is too lazy to stock the shelves and since I'm a night worker and go there at night most of the time, even MORE stuff is out of stock. They just leave the shelves empty ALL NIGHT

This place is awful, the staff is super insensitive to the customers needs. I stood in line waiting what seemed like forever while two employees ignored me while doing other tasks.... Then someone came out and refilled the registers and again completely ignored me... wouldn't even make eye contact... Great customer service

I don’t recommend the location on Tilton Road in Egg Harbor Township NJ. Extremely disappointed in the pharmacy here, they do not answer the phone, the don’t even answer the drive-in window that is supposed to be 24/7. This 24/7 store needs new management or something. Complaints go unanswered and I am not the only one to complain I know for a fact. Unfortunately because they are the only 24/7 store at times I need to deal with them for family members but when I don’t need a late script I never deal with them. And it’s not because of COVID as the issues here were long before that.

I called the pharmacy to inquire why a prescription from 5 days ago was not filled yet. I was on hold 25 minutes before I hung up. will have to waste gas going to the pharmacy for my inquiry, them go back probably tomorrow to actually get the prescription. very, very poor customer service.

My recommendation is you go to Walgreens on Ocean Heights Ave and not here. We had been going to this CVS for years and in the last 6 months they had "lost" my husbands narcotic pain medication for his Cancer, they wouldn't answer the phone for HOURS, they would be out of stock of medications he had been getting literally for years, I had a manager ask me "well what do you want ME To do about it?" when I asked if a 2 hour hold time was a normal occurence for the pharmacy and

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!! I'm absolutely disgusted with the customer service shown in this store. Joan the cashier REFUSED to give her first name for the complaint. I was on hold with the pharmacy for 2.5 hours which is c unacceptable when the pharmacist told me he had three calls waiting. Professional? I called the front store to see if the pharmacy changed hours, and was yelled at and told it was not their problem. I asked for their name at the time (11:30pm) and refused. Joan scream at me in front of customers and acted irrationally, she expressed to me that she hoped I got covid and perished. Check the records for a call to the front store at 11:30, see who answered, I'll bet every dollar I'll ever earn it was Joan. To blame their personal issues on covid is no excuse as this pandemic doesn't only effect CVS. They don't know the risks I take daily at my frontline job. I can't even get my prescriptions filled because of incompetency of ordering medications in the pharmacy. I highly suggest y'all bring someone in and make this right. If y'all can't staff the store appropriately then CLOSE. Don't remain open and excuse me, but half a** it. How does that help anyone? How does your employees wishing death by covid after they just used the pandemic as an excuse for their poor work? How does a pharmacist (Richard S) leave someone on hold for 2.5 hours without ever addressing me? I remained on the phone until the store and he wasn't on the phone, wasn't with a customer, he was sitting down no mask. I don't understand how someone can be sitting doing no work but too busy and allow someone to be on hold for 2.5hrs. Very confused on how your employees say one thing and expect remorse for COVID when in reality they are completely unfit to work at your store. EVERY other CVS in the area, except this location, is run with integrity and morals. Joan don't take your personal issues to work to take it out on customers who ask for help. I know when someone asks for your first name for a complaint refusing what's the point? Yelling in my face saying you weren't taking responsibility for your actions? It's despicable and you should be more then ashamed. Please be a kind and professional person not just for your sake but your career. Joan, your behavior was not only sickening but criminal. Richard S if you're unable to efficiently run the pharmacy than inform management that change is warranted. Four witnesses within the store I got contact numbers for and are willing to share exactly what I'm conveying. The entire store heard Joan. I am awaiting to hear back from you before I proceed further with the authorities on to file a police report against Joan. Honestly, after the things she said I don't know how you would permit an employee who says "I hope you get sick with covid and die miserably" P.S.S. It's absolutely unbelievable that a pharmacist (Richard S) would not be wearing his face mask properly when surrounded by hundreds of people's medications.

I dropped off a prescription. It was supposed to take 2 hours .I went back four hours later and it was still not done. Worst pharmacy ever. I've always had to wait too long when I go to that pharmacy. Understaffed. Everyone was pissed that was in line in front of me one after another. Time to look for a new pharmacy.

I have never in my life had such a problem with a pharmacy. Figured I’d wait till later to call when they might not be so busy and When I called to speak to someone at the pharmacy and left on hold for over 40 min to get hung up on . Call back and no one knows that they are doing and when I finally get to speak the person in charge , I get hung up on a again. Im writing this review while I’m back on hold again for another 30 min . I’m picking up my prescription and never going back there again . This is so unnecessary

The staff at the pharmacy is very friendly and polite but the ability to get prescriptions on time or ever correct is a struggle. I think the staff is overworked and it’s a shame

I'm actually on hold with their corporate office due to how horrible the pharmacy is. I've worked my whole life in customer service and have never witnessed such bad service. I was on hold almost 30 minutes in reference to my husbands Cancer medications, someone picked up and then hung up. I called back and spoke to a manager who said "well, they are busy" after almost 3 months of problems, excuses arent good enough. ny husband has been a customer over 12 years, and we are switching to Walgreens. I reccomend everyone do the same. I took a screenshot of my child time. I waited to almost 40 minutes before they picked the phone up and hung up
