Have stayed at this hotel, many times while visiting family. The staff has always been just so wonderful!
A staff member recently went above and beyond to help us cancel very last minute I did not get the woman’s name at the front desk, who helped us, but she was so kind, caring and thoughtful of our situation. So grateful for her assistance. Highly recommend this hotel, not only for the accommodating staff, but it’s always so clean and the breakfast is great. When we are back in the area, we will certainly be staying here! Thank you!

I’ve never felt so disrespected and humiliated at a hotel before. The manager’s behavior was not only completely unprofessional but also blatantly racist. No one should ever have to experience that kind of treatment, especially in a place that’s supposed to make guests feel welcome and safe. I left feeling angry, hurt, and deeply disappointed. This experience ruined what should have been a relaxing stay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone — especially if you expect to be treated with basic human decency.

Staff was great. Luanne at the front desk especially. The room window treatments were heavy, dirty and partially torn. Need to be changed to a more simplified shade. Luggage carts were unavailable and could not be located. Suggest putting a tracker on them. 1st floor elevator buttons were broken causing delays getting to our room. The overstuffed furniture was dirty and thread bare. I have never stayed in a Hilton property in such such poor condition. Thank goodness for Luanne.

Mold, mold and more mold. We were given a room on the first floor and I am shocked that they even rent out these rooms. They have an absolutely disgusting mold smell and mold is prevalent all through the room and hallways. You can actually smell it when you cross over into the first floor hallway. These rooms are sincerely unsafe for anyone to be using and it is criminal they still rent them out in this condition.
We complained and were given a room on the 3rd floor. It did not smell but as others have noted, the property is terribly dated and the TV never worked. Appreciate the friendly staff but we will NEVER be back and advise others to stay away.

Homewood is my go to whenever I travel. There was an issue with my room upon arrival and the staff rushed to coordinate with housekeeping to get it fixed right away. I relaxed with a hot cocoa and watched TV while I waited

I received an email from this hotel thanking me for my stay. Using my Hilton Honors number, account information. I have never stayed here. I’m trying to figure out how someone checked in to a room with my name on it. I called the hotel and the woman was nasty. She couldn’t confirm the last four of the card that was used to pay for the room. She wanted me to give her the entire card number. I gave her the last 4 but she refused to confirm that the last four matched. I’ll be filing a report.

Booked 2 king suites for the weekend. It is clearly an older property but rooms were not clean at all, smelled musty in both of our rooms. Stains on both couches in the rooms. Bathroom was dirty in one. The other the toilet broke and maintenance had to come fix it multiple times throughout our 3 day stay. Both of the elevators were also out of service the entire stay which is annoying. Nobody seemed to be fixing them either. Breakfast was cold at 8am and there were no clean plates for more than 10 minutes. Worst hotel stay and especially not great at all for a hilton property.

We were in town for my in-laws’ retirement celebration. After a long drive, I was looking forward to a hot shower and a comfortable bed. Unfortunately, the water was cold—and remained cold throughout our entire three-day stay.
To make matters worse, the TV service went out whenever it rained. The blackout curtains had a noticeable hole, the chair in the room was dirty, and the lobby itself was unkempt.
Of course, I brought this to the attention of management, but all he could do was apologize.
Certainly not what I expected and certainly not what I paid for! Am I do a refund or a courtesy stay at a future Hilton property?

I’m often annoyed by people that leave a poor review based on one small issue with a hotel, restaurant, etc. We had several issues leading to a two-star rating. First, check in was a disaster. Our room wasn’t ready until 8pm. The room was fine apart from mildew along the tub however like others, in the morning we discovered that there wasn’t any hot water. The one redeeming aspect was the breakfast which was very good. We’ve stayed here about 10 years ago without issue however we won’t return after this latest stay.

Great, friendly staff! That is my only positive feedback.
Shower never heated up beyond that of barely above “chilling”. Definitely wakes you up in the morning, which is good because the coffee is barely hot as well.
Broken towel rack in the bathroom, only note was “ordered part”.
No one serviced are room and every time we ran out of toilet paper we had to either go down to the desk or call and wait for them to bring us some.
Stove top only has one knob on it and the other one is missing
Cabinet doors don’t fully close
Floor in kitchen/entry looks as though it started falling apart in 1999 and didn’t survive the Y2K party on it. Hole and gaps are actually a health hazard.
Microwave doesn’t work
Towel rack on the back of the door is missing. The part is available at Home Depot a block away.
Couch may have actually been picked up roadside after being ran over by a truck. It sinks in, hurts the back and may actually be one of the worst elements.
Did I mention no one serviced the room. Trash had to be put outside of the room and it sat for two days.
Horrible doesn’t begin to describe this stay.
