My Godparents were moving to Michigan and the first moving company backed out because they wrote down the wrong date. My Godparents were directed to a new moving company Shamrock Moving & Storage. John the owner came to the house surveyed everything and told them they were able to do the move. The day of the move they were 30 minutes late. They were told the company was gonna show up with 2 trucks and 8 guys but only 1 truck showed up with 3 guys. John and the other driver went to collect the second truck and left the 2 guys to start packing up a 5 1/2 bedroom house. Then John decided to back up the truck into the driveway and got it stuck for an hour. When the truck got unstuck he wanted to stop moving everything and come back in the morning when they had to get the house emptied by 1 p.m. the next day. If it hadn’t been for other people the house wouldn’t have gotten packed and even after that there was stuff that was still left in the house, garage, back porch and shed which made them buy a storage unit. One truck arrived in Michigan on time and the other one got lost. The first thing when unpacking was my uncles grill got damaged and a mirror inside the hutch was shattered. I felt that my Godparents wouldn’t have to rent a storage unit if the trucks were probably packed. All the owner did was complain the entire time. As time went on one of the employees that was hired in Michigan when to my Godparents and told them about the mirror and they were told not to tell them from John the owner. John complained that the boxes were too heavy but they only had 2 days to pack up a 5 1/2 bedroom house when the other moving company backed out. My Godparents for lucky that everything has arrived but they were very unstratified with their experience with this company.

Showed up two hours early - after agreeing to a 12-3 timeframe - 10 AM -- w/o sufficient notice - I live 2 hours away. Proceeded not to wrap up 2 leather couches in protective wrap. No boxes or bubble wrap on trucks - luckily I had some upon arrival -- charged me for the entire time - drove past storage unit not once bt twice AFTER I gave them the address. Scrapped up one couch moving - only until I asked to wrap the couch up - the guy says "whatever the customer wants" -- I've called them twice no return calls since a week ago and sent an email two days ago to discuss even more of this "move". NO RETURN CALLS by owner. Go hire yourself people off the streets and rent a truck - you would be better served with your items. I had to give them one star simply because I can't give them "no stars of negative stars"

Was the only company to give me a flat guaranteed rate that was fair and reasonable. Picked up all furniture in my daughters storage unit and moved it to Oceanview in one day on time on budget! The guys were really good workers!

For whatever reason my review doesn't show up so I'll keep reposting it: From December 2017 DO NOT use this company!!! I gave them one star because negative stars was not an option. I had to use this company in a pinch and was charged a ridiculous amount of money for them to ruin all of my furniture. Literally every item I had that I couldn't fit into a bin was either damaged or ruined and had to be throw away. There was even a boot print on one of my pieces of furniture to show you how much the movers cared about our items. They left hand and foot prints all over my house on walls (Don't know how that was possible). They had a bunch of "tarps / blankets" yet didn't use them to cover ANY pieces of furniture. I even took the time to mark EVERY bin with the room it should go in making it easy for the movers to unpack the truck into our house.... yet me and my husband still had to move a majority of the items into the correct room because their movers were too incompetent to understand where to place items... one of the movers couldn't even speak or read english. Avoid this company at ALL costs. You'll be sorry if you use them.
