Hey Shop Rite, Covid is over. Get your lazy cashiers to help with bagging!! Things would move a lot faster. And a friendly hello would be nice also!!!

Im just guessing by the tone of this review that Kathy is most likely the loud, aggressive, rude woman with long, curlyish hair that screeches at people in the self checkout section. I came here to say the same thing. No need to scream. No need to holler at customers at the top of your lungs. No need to argue with a customer if they have two orders and planned on checking out at each individual checkout therefore two separate customers with two separate orders both under 20. Yelling loudly in front of all the poor customers trying to checkout out, is uncalled for. This was my first ever trip to Shop Rite, which was very pleasant and good experience and I will NEVER be back thanks to who I am just guessing is Kathy. Someone needs to talk to her about her attitude.

Always a good experience here. One suggestion for management to consider: adjusting the automatic door exit timing. My elderly father, moving slowly, was pushed by the door and nearly fell. Perhaps a longer timing would be beneficial. Safety should be the priority.

I liked being able to neatly bag my own groceries at my own pace at self checkout, but with the 20 item limit, I'm forced more and more to use the normal checkout lines. That in itself is fine (irritating, but fine), however with the exception of one older gentleman running the register once, every cashier I've dealt with over the last few months has let the conveyer belt in the bagging area continuously run the entire time they scan, so all of my previously organized items pile up in a heap at the very end, where bags are supposed to be.
How can I efficiently load my bags and get out of your way if I have no room to bag? This seems like a severe lack of training, or maybe corporate is trying to copycat Aldi by making their cashiers feel like their job is on the line if they don't scan rapidly. The latter still doesn't explain not letting the conveyer stop for a little bit to let me bag. Trust me, I want to give you money and be gone just as fast as you want to be rid of me. I have severe anxiety.
I thought making a point to always use the handicap-friendly checkout lane would at least mean more compassionate cashiers who would give me enough grace to bag my own items, but no. I still have to hold my bag outside of the bagging area and try not to crush items as I rush to chuck everything into bags in time to pay.
I'm tired of having to reorganize and rebag my groceries when I get to my car, and being made to feel a nuisance even though I'm going as fast as I can. If you can't provide people to bag groceries for your customers, then give your customers some grace.
If I have to buy more than what I can carry in two hands, I'll just drive the extra 10-15 minutes somewhere else.

While shopping at Shoprite, Lowe's etc can be a decent experience, the pricing games played by some retailers including Shoprite can be frustrating. The shelf price might not always match the checkout price and they will play the pricing game with you, especially when DIGITAL COUPONS are involved. As an auditor with experience at stores like Lowe's & ShopRite and other , I strongly recommend always taking a picture of the item and its shelf price. This way, you can protect yourself from any potential discrepancies or errors from the store at checkout." Hold them totally accountable with your camera phone like I have done...Let's protect eachother.

The ShopRite at English Creek deli workers are probably the nastiest, laziest and slowest union workers that I have ever witnessed. They are a poor excuse for union workers. Any day of the week you go there they act like you are wasting their time. Whether you put an online order in or you’re waiting at the deli you’re always waiting forever for your order. They are so unfriendly. ShopRite should be ashamed of themselves for hiring such ugly people inside and out.

I want to give a shout out to Marie in bookkeeping who went above and beyond to help me out. I mistakenly left my cash back in the self check out register and she researched the transaction and was able to get my money back. Good employees are what make shopping there great and there are several in the store.

A tad pricey compared to the other Shoprites and a lack of products on sale isn't a good thing either.
