We purchased a John Deere mower for the Millville Soccer Association, expecting a reliable product, but it has been a frustrating ordeal. The John Deere Mower with only a 72in deck does not meet our needs, and despite numerous attempts to address this with the sales representative, Doug, we’ve been denied a return. The company took the mower back for testing and attempted repairs, but a brand-new John Deere product should not require fixes straight out of the box. Additionally, we were told our grass was the problem, which was an unprofessional and dismissive response.
Our invoice clearly states a 30-day return policy, yet the company refuses to honor it. This has left us without a functional mower, forcing our kids to play on overgrown grass during last weekend’s games. We strongly urge these people and Doug to honor their return policy, improve customer service, and provide our refund so we can purchase a mower that works for our kids. We cannot recommend this company based on this poor experience.

I am thankful for Scott Palm who followed up with my Zero Turn Tractor fix. The initial problem was not discovered or fixed at the service shop. The tractor did not display the issue I was having while it was at their shop. However, it still cost $250.00 for telling me their was nothing wrong with my tractor. However, once they delivered the tractor back to me it started doing the same thing that I had sent it to the Service Dept to fix. Regardless, they sent Scott Palma out to the house to take a look and he was the expert professional! He found the cause of the issue and gave me two suggestions on managing the issue. One is a temp fix and one will be a permanant fix. I did not want him or Central Tractor to perform any work on the tractor since I was already $250 in the hole for nothing. So thankful for Scott's knowledge, understanding of my predictament, and his professionalism! He has helped to keep me CJE customer!

First time using Central Jersey Equipment, and we will be repeat customers for sure! The service department, Melissa and Mary were very friendly and helpful! Great!! The pickup and drop off service was really useful, easier than trying together the tractor there ourselves. Thanks so much for the terrific service!

This was our first time using Central Jersey Equipment to service our John Deere Lawn Tractor. It was the BEST experience we've had using the pick up and drop off service! They did all the required service on the tractor and its working great!! The Service staff, Melissa and Mary couldn't have been nicer!! They were GREAT!! We will definitely be using them again for future service! Thanks So Much!!!

Had my John Deere in and were told needed trans axles $1600. Well picked it up got home replaced fluid and new drive belt 60.00. works great now

This place is not worth the trip! I drove over to get a new belt and oil filter for my mower. Super easy transaction! Than I got home and installed the filter they gave me and it exploded oil all over my garage! I went back and they realized that they had given me a sample designed for the floor to see internal parts of the filter. They would not do any sort of discount for the multiple trips back and forth or the hours I will spend cleaning up the mess. Just terrible service all the way around! Just take the money and tell the customer sorry! Spend your money somewhere that they appreciate thier customers!

I wasn't sure what kind of review I was going to write. I have a mixed review. I emailed Elmer and Jason responded and Melissa called a day later. I explained what my mower problem was and they picked up my mower in a day or two. She called me a few days later with what work needed to be done with a price and I agreed. I thought it might be high but after explaining what needed to be done I didn't think the price was that bad. She told me it would be done in a week so I was happy. After a few weeks I reached out and was told they need parts. After another week I was told they were waiting for a spindle. I'm ok with waiting but no one ever called me. I understand how leadtimes for parts can be long. Bottom line is I got my mower back after 5 1/2 weeks. I'm happy with the work. I cut my grass last night and it seems to be in great shape. They know what they're doing with repairs. However, there was no communication after they got my mower.
I called a sales rep a few days before my mower was done and complained and he sent it to corporate. I did recieve a call from Centrals corporate that day. I appreciate that call and he assured they are working on their communication. I would recommend them for a mower service. However be prepared to wait weeks before its done. I just wish I knew before I went there I knew it would take as long as it did.

If you have too go to a John Deere dealer go too your next closest one trust me this place is a joke I made a appointment to get my mower deck belts replaced, blades replaced and my tractor serviced, I called after a week for a update and the service lady said their finishing up with it it should be done in a few days so I waited another week called again and the service lady said again we’re finishing up with it and it’s been week 3 and I’m still waiting for them to call me

Dealt with Ian back in November after starting to look at 1 series tractors. Ian was awesome. Understood what I wanted and when I had questions he was quick to get back to me via Email. When I went in to drop off my down payment the woman at the front desk greeted me and asked if I needed any help. While walking around another gentleman asked if I needed any help. Great customer service here. And they have my business for all my John Deere and stihl needs.
