“I have had some not great experiences in the past ordering flowers, so this time i read some (of these) reviews and chose Rosebud floral art. I ordered (on 10/1/2024) the "Weekend Getaway" in the premium option for my wife while we were in the hospital having our second child. The flowers came a few hours after the online order was placed and was by far the best "flower delivery" arrangement I've ever ordered.
For any guys like me reading this who don't order flowers often and/or don't know much about it, my recommendation is just order from these Rosebud and if not them directly from another local florist.
Here is what I learned not to do from experience and trying to either save a few dollars or was just lazy and used the first site I found.
Avoid any company that:
1) Is a 'chain' or national brand, for example a company that's starts with a "1-800" number. Many times those are literally shipped (ex. in a FedEx box) which is probably not what you and I think of as 'delivery'.
2) Has the name "direct" in the name. Also, likely shipped and/or flowers were cut and arranged days prior
3) Provides a service to areas covering an extremely large geographical area (like 200 mile or more radius), or multiple different areas far away from each other (ex. any website with the word hospital in the name, like hospitalgiftship.com). They either ship flowers or hire local florists and their fee carries on to you. Cutout the middle man and order from a local florist.”
