Love going here. The staff is so friendly. The teller with the gray hair and glasses (forgive me for not knowing her name) is an absolute sweetheart. Always a pleasant experience when i go here! It's not too far from my job so i always stop in here.

I just finished speaking to a supervisor at Citibank because they sent me an offer where I would get 65,000 airline miles if I spent $4000 within four months and it's three months in and they're telling me now that because I had this card two years ago that I don't qualify for the offer anymore. They're telling me I should've read the fine print which I certainly didn't see and probably required a microscope to find! I told them that they shouldn't be sending out promotional material to customers and then have them accept the offer and get a credit card and spend $3000 and then tell them that they're not getting the promotion that was offered. Very annoying!

They might have one private banker available some times so assume minimum 30 minutes wait. Bad staffing and management.

Beautiful bank, horrible staff. I came to cash a check from my school. I had my school ID and my temporary state ID to present to them. Not only did they not cash the check, but they refused it in the most condescending manner possible. Take your business elsewhere.

Reported my lost ATM/debit card yesterday via phone. The customer service rep wanted to charge me the equivalent of a round trip subway ride to send a replacement card within three business days, but I declined since I cannot afford that luxury. So the replacement card's snail mail ETA was February 10th. Today I found the "lost" ATM/debit card (cancellation cannot be undone) and went to the One Broadway branch tellers to withdraw funds since I couldn't use the ATM. Explained the situation to teller Mr. Raul Rodriquez, and he offered to get me a replacement card within one day--no extra fees. I've been a Citibank customer for over 20 years and have only needed a replacement card twice. It was great that this teller recognized my emergency situation (beginning of the month = bill paying time and I couldn't access my funds online or via the ATMs). Having the card tomorrow will make my life a lot easier. For example, I walked a mile in the rain today to make one payment since I didn't have access to my online account. Hats off to Mr. Rodriquez. Give this guy a raise, he deserves it!

The inside of this Citibank branch is absolutely beautiful. The private offices look much more welcoming and professional than ones located at other locations. There are also a slew of ATMs if you're only there to grab some cash. Hell, 2 of the machines ONLY give cash so if you're in a hurry, go for those. So why only 2 stars? The staff. Each time I have visited this location, I have some sort of issue with a teller. I use an ATM/online for my own personal banking but occasionally I have to make deposits into other accounts and that requires a teller. The line moves quick but the staff is well, not too great at knowing their system. First teller I had asked me to write the person's name and DOB. I did that and gave the slip back to him. He said no one existed in the entire Citibank database with that DOB. Really?! Finally he did "something" and the account magically appeared. Second time, another teller didn't know you could look up accounts with someone's name and DOB. I told her she could and gave her the information. She said that last name didn't exists in the DB. Really?! She finally figured it out, as well. Then she was amazed I knew how to do that. Honestly, this location would be a hundred times better if the staff was better trained.

This Citibank sits on the corner of Broadway near Whitehall Street in Downtown's Financial District. There is ample ATM's and the air is cool where one can seek bail from summer's purgatory heat. Bankers note of the steps upon the entrance.
