“Give chances is an excellent establishment in which students collaborate, learn, and overall just have a great time. Not only is it the perfect opportunity for kids to socialize, but it also allows for an excellent learning experience.”
“We couldn't be more grateful to peace4paws for first saving our puppy (and the rest of his litter) from being euthanized and for also allowing us to make him a part of our home. The care and attention they give to all the animals in their care is exceptional. Our hearts are filled with such love as our family is now complete.”
“Wonder place to have your event . This is my family’s go to spot for events .The Bartenders Chris and Laura were amazing. Very attentive all night and great hospitality.”
“North Bergen Purr is absolutely amazing—I’m so grateful our paths crossed. The staff and community are incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive. My family and I are currently fostering two sweet kitties, and it’s been such a beautiful and rewarding experience.
Everyone at North Bergen Purr truly cares about the well-being of the cats and the people involved. You can feel the love and dedication in everything they do. I really hope we can continue fostering and being part of this wonderful community. Thank you for all the work you do!”
“The Park St Y is clean, well organized, equipment is new and there’s a great selection, the staff is always visible and friendly, and there are a host of classes available. Great YMCA!!!!”
“Amazing hub for out of town runners like me who want to run in Central Park. Lockers, water fountain, changing rooms, and bathroom all kept clean by hardworking cleaning staff. The employees I’ve interacted with are all helpful and friendly. Be aware there are no showers, but I always bring disposable XL “shower” wipes.”
“It’s always such a good time at City Green. Whether I’m stopping by their annual farmers market- which has a ton of great vendors with food, decorations, and all kinds of cute stuff, or hanging out at their summer events with live music, drinks, and a chance to wander around the farm and see the animals, it’s just always fun. Overall, such an awesome spot, and I’m really glad Clifton has it!”

“As a medical transportation driver, I’m constantly going in and out of healthcare facilities across North Jersey. I see how front desks operate every single day, and I can honestly say that Amelia Maffei, Susan Bazoqa, and Jacalyn O’Brien are exceptional.
They are professional, organized, and incredibly welcoming. No matter how busy it gets, they stay calm, respectful, and attentive. They treat patients, families, and transportation staff with kindness and dignity. That kind of consistency is rare.
What stands out most is their attitude. They don’t just “do their job” — they create a warm and positive atmosphere from the moment you walk in. For patients who may already be stressed or not feeling well, that first interaction truly matters.
Christian Health is fortunate to have Amelia, Susan, and Jacalyn representing the front desk. They make a real difference every single day.
Thank you very much for everything you do to help lady's!”

“We got displaced due to a fire. We were scared, confused and tired. We really appreciate the good people that took or information when we got displaced due to a fire. The gentleman even asked me the name of my cats while we were waiting for the firefighters to put out the fire. I was so worried about if they would be able to stop the fire before it made it to our apartment. They were even able to find us a hotel that was pet friendly. They followed up with us when we needed an extension from the city at the hotel. Thank you to Christan for all of her kindness and patience. People were angry and just as stressed as we were. Christian explained things to us and we understood what The Red Cross does. She called to follow up with us. We appreciate her so, so, so much and are thankful for sitting with her that day. We appreciate The Red Cross for being so caring and empathy.”

“Went on two Friday walks this year. Had Mary as a guide both times. Her knowledge of the birds, bird calls and plant life was extensive. It’s a beautiful natural area and the building has just been renovated. They were planning a special Saturday on monarch butterflies when I visited. Especially enjoyed seeing northern flickers, crows and chipping sparrows and learning more about the plants and trees.”
“A great little shop with very fair prices. They only take cash FYI and I wish they would give receipts... It's the only downside to this obviously lovingly presented shop”
“I lived at Packanack for 46 years with my children. It was always a friendly, inclusive place to live. It is welcoming to all new comers, no matter what their faith, creed or nationality, should be. Please keep it that way. Accept all, tall or short, gay or straight, Hispanic, Italian, Irish, Jewish, Asian or Muslim. We are all one in the sight of God. This beauty should be enjoyed by all. “I have been wanting to visit this thrift store.....and WOW! It's a small train depot...very quaint and the prices are extremely reasonable for name brands. Proceeds go to the local schools. Let's assist them in their humble goal! Cannot wait to go back!!!”
“The best Parkinson’s program ! I joined Simona’s group 3 months ago and has truly helped me both physically and mentally. The group members are all very nice and it’s a great atmosphere.Ridgewood did a great job putting this together”

“Our district's 18-21 Transition Program opened last year amidst COVID, so it was very difficult to develop opportunities in the community for my students. We were very excited to connect with Greens Do Good, and our year changed as student internships began. The experience at the farm is unique. Students are passionate, and very proud when working alongside GDG staff to contribute to the success of the farm.We are very grateful for our partnership with GDG. In addition to the internships, they employ students, and bring people together for projects that will improve the lives of individuals with special needs. They continue to be an amazing resource for our students and their families.Thank you for all that you do!Michael - Transition Coordinator at STEPSS Program”
“We obviously love it! We fantasize, we want to push open the doors to see Sigournay Weaver getting ready or the soul of Brando. Marylin or James Dean give us the message of their acting secrets!”
“Very clean! Great pool and atmosphere. One of the few 25m pools in the area. Very affordable as well from monthly to swim lessons. Coach Mike and Chris will get you swimming effortless! I recommend the pool to everyone”
“They have a food bank 3 times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. (Check during holidays though). They are very friendly, and I love volunteering here when I'm able. They have a church service on Sunday, and other activities during the week including after school club. Everyone is compassionate in how they serve, and I'm glad they're here helping the community.”

“Nice place to go for a walk and clear your mind. Lots of birds and other wildlife can be heard and seen. There is a trail making it suitable for children and seniors as well. The best time to come here is in Autumn. They did some environmental restoration renovations but I'm unsure as to what exactly those positive changes were.”
“My niece and my 2 kids went to this child care center 25 years ago, 18 years ago and 15 years ago, at that time they were the best, the staff are very professional, very caring, they make the kids feel like they were family. The kids love their teachers and the state of the art facility. Definitely recommend this daycare.”
“Great local farmers market with friendly staff. We did wait shortly in line to get inside, but only because they limit the amount of people due to covid19. Sign up for their emails as they send a newsletter a day or two prior to Saturday sharing what will be on sale. Arrive earlier than later if you're eyeing something specific as stock does tend to sell”
“I was there just for a county meeting. However, I got to witness their morning service and was impressed at how orderly and effective they're even as they prepared the room for a large meeting. I also met Ms. Delllouise, who treated me extremely well, and for which I'm grateful. Great work by the Montclair Salvation Army!”
“A nice space with lots of choices, good prices, clean and well-laid out. The employees were all extremely nice. A special shout-out to Louisa. The computers crashed and took down the cash registers. There was a long line and most people took it well, but one man became vocally abusive and yelled at her. Louisa remained faultlessly polite and unflustered. She kept the line updated as to what was going on (while she had a phone to each ear, trying to rectify the problem with IT) and apologized each time. She provided some of the best customer service I've ever seen. Even though I live some distance away from Elmwood Park, I will certainly shop there again.”
