Went with my 8 year old nephew who loves old format audio. Owner was super helpful and had what we were looking for. It's not a garage sale folks. The guy has amazing rare collectables. Will definitely go back and explore the vast treasures. .

A huge store with lots of records for every pocket! Many records for as low as 5 $, but also many collectibles in mint conditions for the ones who know what they are looking for

Went to this place over the weekend and wanted to buy a few used CDs. Owner took them to the computer scanned the barcodes and look up prices on Amazon and Discogs. He then proceeded to tell me each CD was rare and was worth about $80 each. I asked him to look up sold listings on eBay since that is more reflective of what people are actually paying for the items but he refused. I went directly to the record label and bought the CDs for $12.99 each. The problem with looking items up on Amazon and Discogs is it only shows what they are listed for and not what they have sold for. I can take a picture of my big toe and list it for $34,000 if I want to. Doesn't mean that that is the amount they are selling for or their worth pointI'm not one to leave bad reviews but I have been collecting for a long time and know how to price items and what they are worth. It's always a bad sign when a store has items not priced and scans barcodes to look up prices online as you are going to buy them.My advice is do your own research before buying anything from this place. I feel like the owner is trying to take advantage of people who may not know other means of obtaining items for cheap. For example I am a huge VHS collectors and he had VHS prices well above selling price with mold and sticky shed syndrome. For example a movie called Too Scared to scream had a release on the Media VHS label and it sells for $20-$30. He had a later release oof the same movie on the video treasures label prices at $60.CDs in question were some punk albums from SST records. SST records didn't start releasing CDs until the 90s and the CDs I purchased have no differentiation from a CD pressed in the 90s from one pressed in 2023.

So packed with product it was overwhelming ?♀️ I was told it was in alphabetical order however that didn’t even help. Vinyl was super overpriced.. and I was followed around the store like I was doing something wrong. ? I was done at that point even though they had allot I wasn’t going to pay more and feel like a potential thief.

It’s a jam packed record store for sure there’s tons of stuff, if you ask for it, they probably have it. Bit cramped but they have this Swarovski heart crystal i really want so please don’t buy it.

Everything is overpriced.$5 record section are all kinds of trash worse than $1 section of other store and not organized. The regular section records prices are top of top dollar more than auction winners of online.

"I allowed this customer to browse some CDs we had not processed for sale as a favor. He was informed that they would need to be priced." No, he asked me what I was looking for and I told him I was into punk music. He then told me all the punk was in the back and it "wasn't cheap". I picked three albums and he proceeded to look them up on Amazon and Discogs and told me the highest price listed. "No good deed goes unpunished as he tried to convince me some hard to get items were nothing special." I did not try to convince you they were cheap CDs. I asked you to check eBay sold listings for what people were actually paying which was between $10-$20. "yet he really wanted them, as he states he is a collector." Wrong, he told me they were $80 each and I said "ok, I'll pass. Thank you" and left. Doesn't matter to me because I found the CDs for $12.99 directly from the record label. The owner needs to stop lying and trying to make people look bad. Stop overcharging and trying to rip people off.

Great place for awesome vintage vinyl and cassettes as well as other cool stuff. The kind of place that would bring gen xers great memories, and perfext for Millenials, gen Y and Z who are into the vintage hipster vibe. Cool owner also, NYC classic type of dude. 110% recommended!!!
