“Great, solid work. Highly recommended. Sam is great, outstanding customer service. These guys do honest work for great prices, they don't try to rip you off. Recently got work done and was quoted $200 less than my normal mechanic quoted me. And they proceeded to deliver a great job as well. Will likely be using them as my regular mechanic now.The only thing I will mention is that when I picked up my car, there seemed to be some grease/oil stains left on the tires, tire rims, and on a small portion of the hood that I had to clean. Likely just from when they were doing the repair. Not a huge deal, just something for them to keep a lookout for. Overall 5 stars though, really liked this place.”

But work on the car would be a month waitI brought my SUV to MP Auto Body on Wednesday afternoon and by Friday, Peter called me back to say I can bring the car in and the tech would need 45 min to have it fixed. “Got help for coordinaing a last minute pickup and from the office with the help of Renee to the driver Bruce Jr and between them both they got the shipment seamlessly taken care of from pickup to delivery asap.The unit that needed to be shipped was a beast. No hiccups, no delays, easy and fast communication throughout the whole process. If there's any company that can pull off same day towing need/ deliveries it's these guys. “While having to fix your car as a result of an accident is always a disagreeable experience, I have to say that at least Clarkstown International Collision made this unpleasant experience much more tolerable. I have only been in a few accidents in all my years of driving, so my knowledge of auto body places is limited. Clarkstown International Collision was recommended by my insurance company, and although I was wary of going with a complete unknown, I’m glad I took their advice. I found Clarkstown to be extremely pleasant, accommodating, and honest. They also did an amazing job fixing my car. They even gave it a good cleaning on both the outside and inside, when all that was damaged was the bumper! There is one person I would like to single out – Joseph, the person in charge of fixing my car. When I brought the car in, I was still very shaken by the accident. Joseph patiently walked me through each step of the process and never showed any sign of annoyance, even when I had to repeat some of my questions several times over. If I ever have another accident – which I hope I don’t – I will not hesitate to bring my car to Clarkstown International Collision.”

“I called about a rattle in my engine area, and went down for a quick ride along. Unable to diagnose it just from the ride along we went back to the shop they took a quick look and immediately saw the head shield for my catalytic converter was hanging off and making the rattle. Put it up on the lift, secured the heat shield with a hose clamp and $20 I was on my way. I will 100% be coming back here if anything happens to my car.”

Occasionally I'll try another mechanic for convenience purposes, but at the end of the day it's damn near impossible to find somebody better than them.They may not always be the fastest option out there (though they always do their best to accommodate) but if you want the job done RIGHT with no bs, go to Lou's. Their prices are always very reasonable, and never once have they tried to upsell or bait-and-switch me. They will also let you know which issues are more urgent than others, so that YOU can make the best choice for your situation. Good luck finding another mechanic with that level of honesty!”
“From the moment I called them, so frazzled from having a tree knock off my car bumper, Jimmy was so reassuring and I knew that I would be alright! When I walked into their shop, Jany, their receptionist greeted me warmly, and they have a tiny aquarium with mini frogs at reception! I felt like I was treated like family and it meant so much to me. When I picked up my car, I also met Gus, one of the owners, who was personable as well. They did a BEAUTIFUL job on my car, truly looks brand new! When you are going through this chaos and stressed to the max, you want a company that appreciates your business, and treats you decently! Also Jimmy added in a repair to my gas cap, where the cord had been broken, for a very tiny fee. I highly recommend this wonderful body shop, and they are right next door to the Tibbett Diner, which has been in business for many years and has excellent food.
