Just another failure Citi brach in Englewood. Almost all negative reviews are correct here. Narcissistic approach with unreal smile on the teller service people trying, but not willing to help customer. They dont bother listen what customer needs. Just Closing now my Citi account for this super inconvenience banking experience. Hey Citi, dont bother wasting rent cost for here. Jack, Harvard / Zicklin MBA in finance.

Nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone at this branch. All the people who helped me in the past year, with whom I built at least some relationship, have left the company. Last time I visited this branch, the branch manager was on loan from some other branch and was only available via email. People at the branch knew very little about business accounts and it took forever to set one up, including multiple visits.It maybe ok for a deposit or a withdrawal, but something that requires some knowledge is another matter.Not something you expect from a major bank.Edit: From bad to worse. Went to open a new business account. After a week and multiple visits, the account was opened, but does not show up online in my dashboard. Several calls to support (branch still does not pick up), no resolution other than customer service telling me the account was not opened correctly and to go back to the branch - which won't pick up the phone to make an appointment. The person who opened the account does not respond to emails either. Ridiculous.

Have extreme difficulty using their ATM‘s. They are too low and unable to reach cash drawer. Often disabled and unusable as was case this weekend. Very upset and using another bank.

Vey difficult to get someone to answer phone so you can establish and and appointment . No sure who set this up but very poor business management . Also sent 2 emails many hours apart .Terrible!

Bad service. We have been trying to open a new account for several days without success. We got to the bank and were told that their system was not working. So far, no one following up with us or given us a callback.

The Citibank Englewood NJ branch parking lot is a hazard. There are enormous potholes and trash everywhere. How is a global bank doesn't have an outside daily maintenance person.

Irresponsible and Arrogant! The checkbook sent me by the bank carries a wrong account number, so that all the checks I wrote were bounced and a penalty amount was charged to each payee. An incredible mistake that hurt my credit! I sent a letter of complaint to the bank branch, requesting an apology as well as refunds of the penalty charges. I have been ignored. No response to my letter, nor a word of apology, nor any refunds! It's a shame to the name of Citibank.

Every SINGLE time I’ve visited the bank during this pandemic period (2020-2022) to present, a very pleasant gentleman greets every single guest of the bank with the best professionalism I’ve seen in any business in the town. Mr. Abdallah Zeid takes his job seriously… and one can appreciate that during this time. Financial situations are difficult enough to navigate, and the risk that you took to go into the branch to handle business matters made you that much more aware of every single detail of how this entire professional team handled your requests, confidentiality, issues, transactions and even down to the cleanliness of this branch… this team is impeccable. I have never been disappointed in a visit, had a reason to leave unsatisfied or even without a smile! I can only commend the management team for providing these individuals with the motivation necessary to deal with the individuals of our beloved Tenafly.? Bravo, Team. I really am thankful for your service. Especially Mr. Zeid. Taking care of the community the way that you all have is the fuel that keeps us going. May you all keep up the good work!?

Got to the branch 4pm on dot and they won't allow me go in. The branch wanted to open the door and o e of the employees told her not to. I became confused as to who is actually tge branch manager. I think the BM is not really in charge

Watch out for The Mad Maskless Karen Scientist customer who is this branch managers best friend. She is extraordinarily loud and has been a customer since circa ‘90 (longer than some current employees life apparently too). She’s a big deal so watch out.
