Mamas Papas Pet Shop
16 Engle St, EnglewoodIf you are considering getting a puppy I would highly recommend this place. The owner, Sean is so nice and pleasant and I got my toy poodle from here. She was a healthy puppy and I received her whole family history when I got her. I now bring her back for regular haircuts. The groomers always do a great job.

Instinct Dog Behavior & Training, New Jersey and Philadelphia
240 Humphrey St, EnglewoodFrom the Staff at Sammy's HopeAnimal rescue is difficult and can be emotionally draining, but seeing the once homeless animals thrive in forever homes is what makes it all worth it. Sammy’s Hope takes at-risk animals from overcrowded municipal shelters throughout New Jersey, and we are honored to be part of their journey to finding their forever homes with loving families. There are times we recognize that a dog needs more than the love and attention that is provided by Sammy’s Hope in a shelter environment. Bruno was that dog. We loved him dearly but realized that his anxiety limited his attention span and ability to focus. He simply could not settle down and did not know what to do with all his emotions.Sammy’s Hope enrolled Bruno in the Board and Train program at Instinct Dog Behavior and Training, Englewood. The staff at Instinct provided Bruno with consistency and taught him the skills necessary to be the absolute best version of himself! Within a few short weeks we saw the difference in Bruno! He became much more focused and attentive. Shortly after completing training, Bruno was adopted! He lives in Brooklyn and vacations in Florida – an incredibly happy dog indeed! All of us at Sammy’s Hope are so grateful for the knowledge and expertise that the professionals at Instinct Dog Behavior and Training, Englewood possess!Instinct Dog Behavior and Training, Englewood is an invaluable resource for animals with challenging behaviors.

Crush Cookie Bar
14 Engle St, EnglewoodThese are not ordinary cookies. They are stuffed and topped with various amazing treats, and made to order. So fresh, soft, and truly melt in your mouth, with that delicious cookie flavor. I still dream of the banana pie (picture on left). I once had a sugar cookie that was the best sugar cookie of my life (not pictured- ate it too fast). Don’t know why they aren’t all over NYC. Must try. It will be your new obsession. (For kosher or non kosher people, the cookies are just simply better than any others)

Bianco Nero Gelato
18 E Palisade Ave, EnglewoodConsidering that I've been coming here every weekend since I've discovered this place, I must say that is my favorite gelato spot! Aside from the gelato, the ladies behind the counter always welcoming. They've always helpful me pick out which flavor I want to try and have. I love hearing which ones are their favorites. They have so many flavors- it's so hard to choose which ones to get! My favorite will have to be the Ferrero Rocher - it's creamy, flavorful, very high quality. I have also tried the Dubai chocolate and the Oreo one- both very delicious flavors. If there's one thing about these flavors is that they taste exactly as you expect and even better. They all come with a little waffle that says Bianca Nero on it. For photo purposes, this place knows how to make their location and gelato look cute! You truly can't beat this gelato. It is a bit pricey for small cup but the flavors and quality and definitely worth it!

Jackson Hole
362 Grand Ave, EnglewoodDeciding to rest today before an early departure tomorrow morning, we ordered Uber Eats from Jackson Hole. What a great experience! \n\nThe menu was quite extensive! It was hard to decide what to order! Once we narrowed it down and made our choices, the order process was somewhat easy… I say somewhat because it took me a minute to figure out how to customize/personalize my sandwich. After placing the order via the web, we watched the process via the app and within 20ish minutes our order had arrived to our hotel. \n\nThe turkey sandwich was perfectly made to order! The potato salad, mustard based ?, was delicious! If I had to complain one thing, I’d have to mention that the sandwich meat was room-temperature. I feel like it should’ve been refrigerated — but that may have had something to do with the other meal ordered along with the sandwich. It was a burger. Regardless, they both tasted very good! \n\nAll condiments, silverware, & napkins were delivered with our meals! \n\nHaven’t had service this good throughout our stay here in Englewood! Thanks for adding to our very easy ‘rest day!’
