Thank you to Sal! Not only does he love every puppy that comes through his doors, but he is very excited for YOU to become a dog parent! He made the whole process simple and I felt confident the day I took Wally home. It’s super clean inside and all the pups were well taken care of.
That first night in March I was certain I wouldn’t get any sleep but Wally slept through the night in his crate! And every night after (Although now he sleeps with me)! Luckily, he has also been very healthy. He was a bit under 3 pounds when I first got him but now he’s about 10 pounds! I mostly have him on the dog food they sent us home with.

Our 5-year old Labrador retriever (Alma) has completed overnight lodging and Camp and Coach throughout the years. We were extremely saddened to hear that they would be losing their physical space in Englewood at the start of this year.
The Instinct team offered a new service “in-home lodging”. At first, we were a little hesitant as Alma had never done overnight lodging at someone else’s house before.
We decided to test it out for a trial run. We could not be happier with how it turned out. Alma stayed with one of their certified trainers, Brianna. Brianna was communicative, gave regular updates, and provided a ton of photos/videos so we always felt comfortable and in the loop. We knew Alma was in good hands. I strongly recommend those who are hesitant or new to in-house boarding to give it a try. We actually think Alma preferred this compared to overnights at the facility.
We will definitely be continuing to trust the Instinct Englewood team with Alma for our overnight lodging needs in the future. Thank you, Brianna and the rest of the Instinct Englewood team for taking such good care of our girl!

This is the last of the homey Korean mom and auntie restaurants complete with an upstairs seating area that feels like someone’s warm and inviting home church. Their bibim entrees are filled with fresh homegrown kaennip and veggies - at prices better than korean sit down. This is one of my go to Korean places in Bergen county which is these days more like contemporary Seoul.

41 Park Pl, EnglewoodWhat a cute coffee shop! If you go towards the back of the cafe there's some comfy chairs and more seating - it's fairly calm and quiet here which is great for WFM, studying and more.
I ordered an iced coconut latte with almond milk (milk is unsweetened which is a plus in my opinion!) and it was tasty -- smooth, not bitter or overly pungent.
Service was great - welcoming, friendly and willing to help me figure out wound of beverage I wanted since I have a wide range I enjoy from lavender lattes, matcha to coconut and americanos.

The gelato is incredibly creamy, rich, and made with high-quality ingredients. There are so many delicious flavors that it’s always hard to choose just one.
I love bringing my daughter here because she absolutely loves the gelato, and it’s become one of our favorite places to spend time together. The shop has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is always friendly and happy to help with flavor recommendations.

It was hard to decide what to order! Once we narrowed it down and made our choices, the order process was somewhat easy… I say somewhat because it took me a minute to figure out how to customize/personalize my sandwich. After placing the order via the web, we watched the process via the app and within 20ish minutes our order had arrived to our hotel. \n\nThe turkey sandwich was perfectly made to order! The potato salad, mustard based ?, was delicious! If I had to complain one thing, I’d have to mention that the sandwich meat was room-temperature. I feel like it should’ve been refrigerated — but that may have had something to do with the other meal ordered along with the sandwich. It was a burger. Regardless, they both tasted very good! \n\nAll condiments, silverware, & napkins were delivered with our meals! \n\nHaven’t had service this good throughout our stay here in Englewood! Thanks for adding to our very easy ‘rest day!’

I’ve worked in the area for a while and JUST somehow discovered this place, as I guess it’s usually closed when I’m on my way in and when I leave but it’s PERFECT for lunch and absolutely delicious.
Every sandwich I have had is like so much flavor and not shy or skimpy on the ingredients.
They have fresh juices, homemade cookies and a salad bar with lots of diverse healthy veggies. But my favorite…. the Sandhwiches!! There’s still so many to try…. Love the paninis, the roasted veggies, the blackened chicken.
Definitely going back.

Ice Cream on Grand
523 Grand Avenue, EnglewoodSuch a great little spot for ice cream in Englewood. I really enjoyed my visit to Ice Cream on Grand. They have a really nice selection of flavors, and the ice cream was fresh, creamy, and delicious. There are plenty of choices, so it’s easy to find something whether you prefer classic flavors or want to try something different.
I also really liked the atmosphere. The outdoor seating area is beautiful and makes the place feel very welcoming, especially when the weather is nice. It’s a great place to come with family, friends, or even for a casual date. I also noticed that the staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better.
Parking is available, which is definitely a plus, although I can see it getting busier during peak hours and weekends. The location is also convenient if you’re already around Englewood and looking for somewhere to stop for dessert.
Overall, I had a very good experience here. Good ice cream, nice outdoor seating, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a place I would recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a good dessert spot. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more flavors.
