First time I have been to this location, and it won’t be the last! After recently moving back to NJ, I was unsure where to go for a good, affordable hair trim (as I have been hearing bad things about “chain salons” recently). However, I did some research, and after reading positive reviews, I pre-scheduled an appointment with Bonnie on the Hair Cuttery app. From check-in to shampooing to cutting to collecting payment, Bonnie was friendly, professional, thorough, and accommodating throughout! Very pleased with my experience and results! :)
Hair type: Medium-long (just above mid-back), naturally straight, highlighted/color-treated hair.

My daughter had an appointment to do her hair for a birthday party made a few days earlier. We arrived at the salon and were told they had cancelled the appointment. We were unable to get my daughter’s hair done. No options provided by the salon to help. Very frustrating.

So my boyfriend came here yesterday for a simple hair cut he wanted to keep his curls and someone completely cut his hair he is not pleased with this hairstyle and I am furious. And the worst part is that he paid $23 for that monstrosity. Worst place ever to get your hair done.

So I Came in asked for a simple buzz cut / fade. I am a guy and have already short thick hair. I was taken right away which was nice. I asked before anything happen if she they have experience cutting fades... and i was laughed at and told yes... yes we can. The women cut my hair in about 15min and said your good to go...there was 0 attempt to let me see my hair... I asked for a mirror and felt rushed to get out as she was already talking to some other customers and telling another employee that she can take someone right away.... once I got home and took a shower, I notice lines all around my head and there was 0 attempt to fade my hair. So my head just looks like short to shorter to shorter with ugly define lines. Lol!! It's funny at first because my head has these obvious hard lines.But this was just a horrible experience! You get what you pay for i guess. But then at least say "no I can not do a fade" before just taking me in...

They tried to up charge our 10 year old daughter $15 because she has curly hair!!! I have never been up charged for curly hair or heard of that and I myself have curly hair. And they told us when we arrived not when we booked the appointment.
