I made my dog his first puppy cut. He was so excited. His appointment was at 10 am. I dropped him off. I get a call at 1010 am. His groomer said he was scratching at the crate so I needed to pick him up. He said he does not have time to cut his hair so he needed to stay in crate. But since he's scratching her can't stay
He should not be in a crate. He should be getting his first cut.

June 2025 by What’s in a name?
The majority of the staff are friendly and welcoming, but some are not. The Asian young male staff is super friendly and helpful (I cannot remember the name, but he was so humble and helped me with a few things last week). But the White mid-aged male at the cash/checkout counter is exactly opposite. I went to pick up my online order and he acted as if I was there to steal my own order which was already paid off. Gross. If you believe that someone is there to steal someone else’s online order, come up with automated system to dispense the bag after showing barcode or something instead of suspecting your own loyal customers.
I spend tons of money buying food and treats and toys and bones for my two dogs; all my orders are either in-store or delivery, and I never experienced any issue. But online pick-up order proved out to be terrible. I will never do any online order pickup from this store.
Please train your White employees, especially men, to treat all customers, including people of color, with respect. People go there to buy things, not to be treated poorly.
Edited on 6/6/25: I lowered my rating to 1 star from 2 because I continued having the same disappointing experience while picking up my order. This time the guy who handed me my bag checked what was inside the bag. Haha. This is crazy. The order is already paid and it was your staff who prepared that order and out products in the bag, and yet you have to check what was inside the bag while someone picks up the order? I will likely be filing an official complaint with PetSmart against this store for their pointless and unethical and racist practices.
Will never go to this store or even order anything online.

I always go to this location since it's the closest and most convenient. However every other time I need a new UVB bulb for my geckos, the new bulb I buy from this location is damaged and or unusable. It gets really annoying to have to drive back and exchange it for another bulb only to hope it works. I guess I'm at fault too for chosing convenience over quality. I'll be ordering solely online now since ironically I've never had one broken even after shipping from multiple handlers. The bulb in the photo shown (bought today) is hit or miss if I get any use. Sometimes it gets it's functionality back and just dies sooner than advertised or it just stays like this and needs immediate replacement.

In short, they claimed in their communication with me they followed protocol which means to lie to customers about the status oc their dog. Evidence shows they are wrong and won't provide assistance. Keep your dog away.
On Oct 20, 2023 I dropped my dog (Shadow) off at PetSmart in Marlton, NJ. On the 25th Wednesday) of the same month I received a call, I accidentally miscalculated the food I brought so purchased additional food. I took the opportunity to ask how the dog was and was told he is doing great, The following day I received a call from the Banfield Vet in the store stating Shadow was very sick and needed to go to the ER, he had not eaten or drank and have been throwing up a lot since at least Tuesday the 24th, the day before I spoke to the Pet hospital and was told he was great (which he clearly was not). This caused a several day delay in getting him the care he needed after ingesting something that clogged him causing the need to remove 60% of his small intestine. The hospital who did the surgery stated that in most cases the animals become symptomatic 2-3 days after ingesting which puts him in the care of PetSmart. Additionally, at the ER he weighed less than 60lbs which 75 is his normal weight. So, while in the care of PetSmart he lost 15lbs +/- which on Wednesday when I spoke to them he would have been very skinny already. There is also some fault of the first ER vet who did not catch the issue but the fact I was lied to about his health and the likelihood of him ingesting the foreign object (rag like) at the hotel is very high I feel PetSmart should have some financial responsibility here after $50K worth of surgeries. I have attached a letter from the doctors and a 3rd part vet review stating the negligence of PetSmart

Not at all happy with the service or what my dog looked like after her appointment today…
We took her to a specific person last time that did a wonderful job! We requested the same person today, but when I dropped my dog off, she wasn’t there. The lady that took her from me put the leash around my dogs neck and my dog was sitting and she just pulled my dog across the floor while my dog was sitting there being dragged by her neck…I got the vibe the girl was in a bad mood too, even when I picked my dog up, she didn’t say much to me. I could tell there was tension or something going on with the employees there, when I went in this morning.
When I look at her hair after she’s been returned, there’s a bunch of bald spots…this is the worst haircut she’s ever received. It looks super messy and in parts of it I’m wondering if they forgot to trim? She has an uneven top knot, they completely shaved her pits, her face has a lot of uneven spots on it….I felt uncomfortable leaving her here today and then got a choppy dog back. Won’t be bringing her back to this location.

Worst place for grooming. Asked to have my dog blown and brushed out. No cutting. My dog came back with a bare shaved tail. This is a husky.. you arent supposed to shave them at all. These people have zero knowledge on the breeds they're working with. Its been over a year, and his tail still hasnt grown in
