We went here with 3 children as a surprise for them. We were letting them pick out whatever they wanted. While we were there one of the children had to use the bathroom. Under normal circumstances we’d just say hold it for a few and we’ll go as soon as we leave. However, these aren’t normal circumstances as the child that had to suddenly go has cancer and can’t hold it that long. I explained that to the employee and asked if he could use their restroom. She said “I’m sorry, it’s out of order”. Yet the sign says “Out of order, employees only”. Ok, so it’s out of order, or it’s for employees only? It can’t be both. I get places not having a public bathroom, but when you have extenuating circumstances, and it involves a child, I’d think you’d be a little more understanding. If the kids hadn’t already made their choices We would’ve taken them for ice cream right down the sidewalk instead. We will not be patronizing this place again, where employees have such little compassion. There are too many places to buy candy out there, where people are much more kind.

We got 2 sodas and they were flat. We brought them back, and since we didn’t have a receipt (we told them we didn’t need it) they wouldn’t give us a refund, which was fine, so we went to do an exchange. We got a new bottle of soda and a candy bar, but had to go back in because the candy bar had expired. We then found an item but it was $1 more, but couldn’t charge it because they have a $5 charge minimum. We picked up another item and then the total was a little over $8, but now the kid at the front told us he couldn’t take the $3 off for the expired candy bar? He then in an annoyed tone said he would pay the $3 out of his money because he was “over it”. It’s not my fault they have been having an issue with flat soda and they have expired candy on the shelf. The experience was very uncomfortable and I won’t be returning due to the attitude of the employee.

The best place to get that soda you had when you were growing up and the candy from the corner stores growing up

Cool selection of exotic sodas. Old school candy and candy from all over the world. Candied insects too for the adventurous.

Cool store with vintage candy titles. Just know you'll pay a premium for them.

Wasn't impressed with the employee at the register who was not familiar with the store's inventory. They were selling products expiring in 2 days and would not offer any discount on them.

Such a fun place!! I heard about this place and kept thinking about trying it but just didn't get around to it. My daughter and I went for lunch nearby and figured we would try it after. We were not at all disappointed. Candies that brought me back to my childhood and reminded me of different people and places. Large selection of taffy, peculiar flavors and funny labels of soda pops, the best fruit slice candies that I have ever had and so much to look at and buy. I can't wait to go back. The best part is that they have bags that are small or large with set prices per bag (no weighing). Other stuff is a little higher priced but worth it in my opinion.

So much candy and soda. Brings back memories when I was a kid in the 80’s. Great showing my daughter what I grew up with.

Well, this place DOES have a wide, wide assortment of candies and sodas. And for some strange reason records. So they have a LOT of your old school favorites, Necco wafers, gold coins, weird chocolate bars that you haven't seen since you were a kid, pop rocks, pocky, yan-yan, Crowders gum... The list goes on and on, and it certainly is a convenient place to get them all. But, you pay for convenience. The candy is well overpriced from any other place you could buy it from. Don't get me wrong, you've got to make a living, and a profit has to be made, but it's candy for gods sake, not uranium.

If you enjoy a place packed with sweet treats, you've found your ideal heaven here at Rocket Fizz. They specialize in those hard-to-find candies and sodas you've spent your entire life searching for. Seeing some of them might even stir up fond memories of your childhood. Either way, it's worth popping in for a look around and a time to reminisce. But remember, there IS a premium price for all that sweet seduction. And it's more than just keeping your local dentist employed. At the time of this writing, it is close to $3 or $4 for a single bottle of soda pop. It might be fine for some, but I was expecting (or rather hoping) it might be slightly less. They say you'll save more if you go the 6-pack or 12-pack pick-it-yourself route, but the savings really are nominal.

Cool local store for a candy fix or gifts. Prices are high, but what you'd expect for a specialty store. Fun place for a treat!
