This store charges exorbitant and unnecessary fees outside of normal UPS Store franchise guidelines. I needed a piece of tape (the size of my palm to finger) and franchise owner Diane Chapelle charged me $5. Ridiculous business acumen. Nearby UPS Stores don’t charge uncalled fees and provide such services for free. Avoid this store and exorbitant fees on shipping.

I had a very important notarized document that needed to be shipped. I paid $16 for the envelope and shipping. The document was supposed to arrive the next day. They lost my document. It’s been over two weeks and they still haven’t found it. They told me to file a claim which I did, but they won’t resolve my claim because they say my document is still being delivered. I’ve been in contact with their corporate offices. This document was time sensitive, very important and a transaction is being held up now because of it. I’m losing money every day and they won’t do anything to compensate for me other than refund my shipping fee and a notary fee which they have not done either. If you want your package to be lost, send it by UPS.

Staff takes ownership to provide the best possible service to clients. I've been using this store for a couple of years and they are always willing, ready and able to help my business needs. The store is clean, organized, professionally run by management, and the product is always top quality, no matter what I order. --Scott Lunn, Realtor, Better Homes & Gardens - Maturo

I’ve had consistently negative experiences at this UPS Store. The customer service is disappointing—several employees have been unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. This is not how the store used to be, but unfortunately, things have changed for the worse.
Another major issue is the lack of consistency. Depending on which employee you speak to and what time of day you go, you may be told completely different rules and procedures for the same service. It feels like there’s no clear training or standard policy being followed, which makes the whole experience frustrating and confusing.
To make matters worse, their pricing is higher than expected, and the lack of professionalism makes it hard to justify using their services. I hope management takes notice and addresses these ongoing issues.

Rude staff. They look at you like you have two heads instead of greeting and offering assistance.

They actually have a notary there up until 7:00 p.m. so if you're trying to get something notarized I would suggest going here because the other places one doesn't exist at that location and the other one you have to make an appointment several days in advance those two places a total waste of time

Kicked me and my 9month old daughter out.
My Mom passed away and I was just coming to get a letter notarized for her burial. I asked them for an example of what kind of format the letter needed to be and they told they had NO CLUE!!
The red headed girl who works there will not say “sorry for your loss” if you have recently experienced a death. I had to call the police because the man who sits at the back of the store was hollering get out to me and my daughter. Which is so convenient to do to a woman when she doesn’t have her husband with her. Disgraceful.

Refused to sign a bare bones travel doc for notarization cited nonsense insurance reasons. Led to hours of delay

THEY HELD MY MAIL FOR RANSOME BECAUSE I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL WITH LEUKEMIA. Please scroll down see the repeated complaints from other customers. I have had a mailbox at this location since 07/19/22 (i.e., 2 years, 6 months, 3 days). I received an email stating that my mailbox was up for renewal on 07/19/25. On 07/15/25, I called the store and explained that I was undergoing treatment for leukemia and would be in the hospital until 01/20/25 or 01/21/25. I was assured by the individual on the phone that this was not a problem and they “understood.” On 07/22/25, I called the store and asked to pay over the phone. Initially this was fine, but then I was told I needed to come into the store. I am sick, but drove out there. When I got there, the 3 month renewal option discussed on the phone suddenly was unavailable and I was told that I had to renew for 6 months. I explained that I have an uncertain future and I needed to discuss the renewal given the forced 6 month commitment. I explained I would be in contact the next day. On the way out, I checked the mailbox and was surprised to find that I could not retrieve the mail. The employee said, “That’s how this works” and that they were holding my mail which would not be released until I renewed for a minimum of 6 months. Please understand, this is within 3 days of the renewal date, I have been a customer for 2 ½ years, and I was in the hospital receiving treatment for leukemia. The employee was very clear that they would not release my mail until I paid $179.13 for the upcoming 6 months. I asked what would happen if I chose not to renew and just wanted my mail. The employee said I would need to speak to the owner but I wasn’t getting my mail. The mail that was in the box was collected prior to 07/19/25. I paid the ransom. The employee also told me she would waive the $15 late fee. Upon review of the contract, the late fee is not assessed until 5 days past due.
In general, as others have stated, the customer service is terrible. If you receive a priority or express mail package, you may want to plan for the extended period where they search for your package and claim they didn’t get it.
