Gentleman at the counter was very helpful and checking in process was easy and simple. We rented a Mazda cuz-5 it was prefect for us. Wonderfully cleaned and ran perfectly

Thanks to John for making my visit to Enterprise a happy one. John was very professional and helpful, despite being a holiday weekend and there was a very long line of people, he handled things seamlessly with little to no effort.

This review is for the location, not the employee.
Arrived at 1220 for my reserved rental, car was not cleaned/ready. Clerk said it would be 10-15 minutes, took 55 minutes.
Clerk is friendly and accommodating, but likely undermanned. Company needs to help its employees and customers as to avoid impatience on all fronts.

I rent pretty often and almost always use Enterprise Rentals. I have never had a bad experience. Used this place quite a few times although lately, I have used the location in Jackson, NJ more often. Usually, this place is very efficient, and the people are interacted with were always polite. The lady, I think her name is Ky who is almost always there has been nothing but pleasant. Always professional, and courteous. Unfortunately this time I ran into the worst kind of person to deal with. He was rude, condescending, and a chauvinist. I am 100% sure that if I were a man he would have never treated me this way. Probably an extremely insecure man. This situation was so ridiculous, as I had free days and was using one of them for this rental. The cost of my rental was just $5.00. I didn't want to put that charge on my corporate American Express card but on my Chime Visa credit card. This is where it all started. All he had to do was explain to me that this location doesn't accept chime and if I could pay using my other card. He however didn't do that. He had to belittle me and tell me how Chime is just a reloadable card stating that he is the manager here and he does not accept Chime. No apology. Just trying to sound like he is making all the decisions for the rental company. He was extremely demeaning. Unbelievably so. I did check on this and each location can indeed make some of these decisions. Obviously, they had a bad experience with a customer using Chime. I used Chime recently at another location without any issues, so I was confused. All he had to do was act just a tiny bit professional. Instead, he was rude, unprofessional, demeaning, and discriminating. Everyone else at this airport, especially the security personnel was exceptionally polite, helpful, and accommodating. Had to park my car in the overflow parking lot and the shuttle bus driver couldn't have been more pleasant. Overall this place has always been great, except this time with this MANAGER guy. Why is someone like this in that position? I am also wondering why the lady who works there hasn't been promoted to that position. It doesn't make sense. Is it because she is a black woman? There is no way that this manager should hold this position. If he didn't have to interact with the public, then maybe. He should be behind the desk on the computer somewhere. Nothing worse than an insecure male. Something needs to be done about this. Are there other discrimination problems with Enterprise?I ended up leaving and driving my own car. Luckily made it in time to my event in Baltimore.This happened on Friday, November 9th, 2023 around 4:00 pm.
