Goodwill Store & Donation Center is a nonprofit organization that collects and sells gently-used donated items through its chain of thrift stores. The store offers a wide range of affordable products, including clothing, accessories, home décor, books, toys, furniture, and home medical equipment, contributing to sustainability efforts. The store's revenues fund job training programs and career services that help individuals with disabilities and disadvantages get to work. Additionally, through Goodwill's Helms Academy, one can earn a high school diploma tuition-free. While the store is generally well-organized and clean, with a good selection of items, the reviews suggest a mixed experience. Some customers find the prices reasonable and the staff friendly, while others feel that the prices have become quite high, with some items only worth buying when discounted. The organization of the store and the way price tags are attached to clothing are also points of concern, as they can sometimes detract from the quality of the items. Overall, the Goodwill Store & Donation Center provides a unique shopping experience, with the potential to find some great bargains, but customers may need to be discerning when it comes to pricing and the condition of the merchandise.
I think the store fascinating because you can always find something very iconic, I like the employees are always friendly and cordial.
March 2026
Went to buy something green for St Patrick's (I wasn't the only one there doing that) and found a new looking, just dry cleaned, long sleeve, silk polo shirt. As a bonus I found a $100. folding photo reflector for $7.
November 2025
I find the pricing to be a little high here, but they have a huge selection.
