A very nice store to shop with your family or just yourself. The staff is very friendly and the items are always in stock. A good, hometown, store. Long term local residents love it. Please do not change a thing. Bill in deli was exceptional until he recently retired. The staff is so helpful and always around in view if you ever need anything. Good fresh product. The express lane should have a limit sign of no more than 15 items. Patrons should be encouraged to move quickly when in self check out as people are waiting. Save the phone calling and yakking for after you have checked out..

I purchased over $50 of king crab legs and asked how they should be prepared. The woman behind the counter, unapologetically said "I don't know". When I asked if there was anyone there who might know, she said "no". I understand that not everyone may know how to do this, but there should be something that can be handed to the customer....or program the pricing sticker to include instructions. Acme is convenient from a location perspective, but I will go out of my way to go to Whole Foods for seafood.

Why have an express lane when a customer can check out with 15 bags of groceries? She had so many bags that she had to hand carry 4 bags along with her cart. I felt sorry for the nurse in front of me because he was on his lunch. I hope the Mom teaches her baby that not following the rules is ignorant and disrespectful. I would also like management to enforce the rules. This store repeatedly falls below the mark and I wish they would ramp up the store to professionally take care of business the right way.

If you want to waste hours of your life, come here at dinner time during the week and wait in a checkout line that stretches to Pennsylvania. How they don't have a self check out station is beyond me.

It actually looks a lot worse than it is. This store suffers from being way overcrowded and overpriced. The management could also use a field trip to Sickle's Market or Whole Foods to see what a successful store looks like and how energetic, engaging employees can be your biggest asset. The vibe in this place is not very good.

It is rather unfortunate that such a high producing store isn't maintained by its parent company. The aesthetic of this store is tragically vintage. The produce is often past its prime, the store is dirty and not well organized. On many occasions they are out of stock and don't carry certain typical items most others do. You have to be very careful to check the expiration dates in the beef and poultry. I don't trust them enough to buy that at this location. The Little Silver location isn't really any better either. The prices don't reflect the venue. This place in my opinion is a disgrace. I realize the space is small, but Kings would do a far better job of organizing the space. The only reason it gets one star is the staff are very friendly and helpful. I'm sure Acme doesn't take care of them either.. hence the expired items and filth.. but the filth is from years of wear and tear.. without one update.

Great staff. Horrible produce, meat, prices and selection. It's never worth the trip. 9 times out of 10 they don't have the brand name staple you go there to purchase and if they do it's double or more the cost. It's always worth the drive to Foodtown in Red Bank, Shop Rites in W Long Branch or Middletown. Whole Foods is a bargain verses the Fair Haven Acme. Please FHA close your doors forever and spare the local residents the agony.
