“This is a satellite from Red Bank, a much larger post office and this does just as much business. Yet Red Bank will not allow more than one person to work here at a time so there are lines frequently. The mail person, Jaime, is absolutely superb in her handling of the job, professional, knowlegable and kind.”
“The USPS counter person Jack Kelly is extremely helpful. Had a big project we needed to mail out. Over 100 unique packages. Jack took the time to handle everything while continuing to help other customers. Even though I was there 45 minutes I never felt rushed. He was very Professional! Thanks for his assistance!”
“On a Friday, I stopped by at noon and there were no lines and I was in a rush to go pick up my son at school. I was in the middle of my workday and business meetings and I ran in and, for some reason, decided I needed my phones for the 2 minutes I would be in there. Well, in my rush, I left both phones behind after paying my transaction. I went, picked up my son, and then finally noticed I was missing my phones. When I returned, not only was the nice man holding my phones but was even charging one of them! I mean, talk about the best customer service ever!Overall, he was also very helpful and courteous. This is the best postal office experience I’ve ever had in my life!And yes, I know, I’m an airhead…”
“Fantastic local post office in Monmouth Beach NJ Considerably closer than my post office in Rumson. The gentleman who works there is very helpful and kind. I drop off the occasional return or ebay package. Open until 5pm Monday through Friday Plenty of parking available”
“My experiences with Belford post office over the years are amazing, for some reason if you take it to Belford it gets there a day or two earlier than any other post office around. I don’t understand how they do it. I guess they just don’t hang onto stuff when you leave it off. Always have been taken care of extremely well no matter how busy they are, they take care of the customers, greeting them courteously and answering any questions. I hope the management never changes because it’s definitely better than all other post offices that I’ve ever used. I hesitate to let everyone know about this wonderful post office for fear that they’ll get overwhelmed, but I can’t be selfish and keep it all to myself. Try it you’ll like it! I’m not even talking about home delivery sometimes a package will come on Sunday and it wasn’t even special delivery. Never gets lost in the mail when I use Belford. Very very happy with the service all of the services !”

Other USPS locations should study these people and figure out what makes them so happy to serve taxpayers with a smile.Regardless even this amazing isso location can't save the doomed USPS organization as a whole. “Stop by frequently. Post office is sometimes like the DMV, you do it because you have to, not because you like to! The staff is a blend, some very nice not others - but again, what are you here for? Get your stuff done and move on.”

“Not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from…I’ve been using this location for almost 10 years an I have never had an issue. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Post office is clean and there’s rarely a wait. The rest of the post offices in this area are absolute nightmares - this one and it’s staff are a saving grace.”

“After having a poor customer service experience in Asbury Park (where I've had many poor experiences), I have been delighted with the service at this Wanamassa/Ocean location. I am able to get in and out much faster, and the front end workers are generally much kinder and less stressed. My most recent experience on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 12:53pm - the gentleman who helped me get my PO Box (I wish I knew his name - he is often there and on my receipt it says Clerk 07) could not have been more pleasant. Not only is the service better here, but the same size PO Box in Asbury Park cost over $100 more per year. I will continue to bring my business here.”
“Pleasant and efficient. After confusing mix up with Amazon. I saw that I needed to go to Asbury Park post office to pick up our packages. When I saw the reviews I was preparing myself for the worst. It was anything but that. The woman that the counter was pleasant and solved my issue immediately and I was on my way in less than 10 minutes. Kudos.”

Always a kind and cordial greeting, and I feel lucky to have this post office not too far from me to do my business with.”
“Small USPS so sometimes there are long lines. Don't depend on what the hours of operation listed on the USPS website say, they change their hours of operation quite often and just post a sign on the door with the updated hours. I have been many times 30 minutes before closing and the door is locked. Friendly staff. Lots of shipping supplies always available.”
