Had a great time at Sushi 101. Heather was an awesome instructor and made the evening both informative and fun. Time flew by! Great date night. Will definitely book another class for the two of us.

We took a demonstrations class this week and unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The chef that was supposed to be cooking for us was sick in the hospital so we had a substitute, who didn't read the original chef's recipes and the food he made was overcooked. He also decided to change the recipe of one of the dishes and left the meat out because "we were going to get a lot of meat with the other dishes later." This was 100% not true because we actually left hungry because portions were so small. The portions were so small you can literally count them. We started with a rice cake soup, and we were served maybe 8-10 sips with 4 pinky sized rice cakes. This was the dish he removed the meat from. And it actually needed that meat. The second dish was the udon carbonara. He was supposed to cook the udon for 30 seconds and immediately remove from the pot per the recipe but instead he left it cooking and soaked in the boiling water for 10+ minutes so we were served mushy udon. I was served 12 strands of udon, 2 pieces of pinky nail-sized pancetta and 3 pieces of sliced mushrooms. I wish I was joking but I'm not. The third dish was the chicken lettuce cups, each person got one cup each, mine had 3 shreds of chicken. Last dish was the short ribs with jasmine rice (we were so glad to hear we were getting rice because we were still so hungry). Well, the single piece of short ribs I got was 75% fat and only 25% meat. And the tiny portion of rice was also way overcooked and mushy (they used way too much water). We also got a small fruit plate with pineapple and mandarins. But we still got a second dinner across the street because we were still so hungry. This was the first cooking class we ever left hungry from. And there wasn't much of a demonstration either, as he spent the majority of the class talking about himself and his experiences, which frankly I had no interest in. I signed up for a demonstrations cooking class to learn about the food, not about him. So for the price of $85 per person, we don't think it was worth it and we will not be back. All the staff were very friendly though. And they were always quick to refill water and collect used dishes.

My 12 y/o twins love Heather (the owner) and the cooking classes they have. I especially loved sushi class ? when the girls came home and made sushi all on their own and delicious! Thank you, Heather! One thing that I wish was different is if the summer camp classes were longer. We do not live in the area so it's really hard to bring them only for 2 or 3 hours. Another ask would be to offer gluten free/dairy free cooking and more cultural variety of cooking since I'm personally not a fan of Italian cooking that contains a lot of gluten. Otherwise the school is awesome and most instructors are great with kids!

Taste & Technique saved our St. Patrick’s Day with their delicious corned beef and cabbage dinners. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, and enjoyed by everyone. Saved so much time not having to cook from scratch and my kids were asking for more. Delicious meal - highly recommend!

If you're expecting an actual cooking class, lower your expectations, it's more of a "show and tell" as you go type of setting. Only 1-2 "volunteer" to help and then the rest sit and eat. Food was okay (undercooked & rushed in my option) but the other people attending made the ambiance worth it. Wouldn't go back but alright one time experience w/ them.

My wife and I had an amazing time with Chef Diana's pasta and pizza making class! Diana is hilarious and has a wealth of information about cooking.I love to cook casually and have been cooking since I was a child, learning from my grandmother and mother. I was still able to learn new techniques and tricks in making fresh pasta that I will continue to do in my own kitchen!Very cool setup in the kitchen and if you get hung up Diana or her assistants are there to give you a few tips. The food we cooked was tasty and we had so much fun with everyone in the class, I highly recommend it.

I love this school! The chef instructors are terrific, and although I'm an experienced home cook and baker, I always come away with new skills and knowledge. Carolyn, the owner, runs a well-organized operatikn and is a lovely person, too.
