“Well let me start by saying I'm from Alabama and hate that I can't pick this place up and take it with me . From the service ,presentation, to the quality it's top tier. I had a burger from Cj's burgers (one of the best burgers I have ever had) also my husband and I shared a family meal with the whole chicken, ribs, seasoned vegetables, and roasted potatoes. My oh my you talking bout good eating the meat texture and flavor was superb and artistically prepared. New Jersey is blessed to have this jewel in their city.....thanks for such a great experience ? “My husband and I came in to get some products for a ragu, and we were served by Domenic who was so friendly and helpful. The products such as the flank and Italian sausages were so fresh and delicious. It’s a small shop but they have a great variety. We are looking forward to trying their sandwiches!”

“The best super market with in the area. Always has the best and freshest meat and chicken. Also have a wide selection of international foods. You will literally find anything you are looking for here. Staff are extremely friendly and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure their customers are satisfied. Owner has even offered to get me a ride home because my husband was taking too long to pick me up! If that doesn’t scream great customer service i don’t know what does! The owner and the arab butcher specifically are super friendly and always trying to put a smile on their customers faces by having funny conversations. Owner is always in the store which shows how much they care about their business. Could not recommend this store enough!”

“Finding a good hot dog/sausage is much harder than you would think. This place is a good solution for that. It's a little stand outside of a butcher shop. There is a line basically all of the time. Is it earth shattering? No. But if you want a brat and want it grilled up nicely, this is your place. Kielbasa is $10. It's huge, pretty good but skip it for something else like the brat. The brat is $4. Worth it.”

“If you're polish you will find everything you may need here - just like back home. Including some cosmetics, magazines and medicines. Selection is huge for a pretty small place. Meats, cheeses and cold cuts are top quality. They also have hot food which is way better than in most Polish restaurants in the area. Selection includes soups and desserts. Perfect place to get your polish supplies or to experience Polish homemade food.”

The sausages, the salamis, cold cuts and even their bakery products are impeccable. My rating is, no question, 5*.”
“Grand & Essex catered an engagement party for my son & his fiance. Everything was set up so beautifully & the food was delic as well. Shloimy & Yitzy were on top of all the planning & details. They guided me with menu & amounts of food to order. “This store is really special, and has easily grown into one of my top three favorite spots in Montclair. It certainly has the feel of days gone by in all the best of ways. The food is fresh, they have an immaculate menu of sandwiches (and this includes for vegetarians!) and ready-mades. They also have a really fantastic, specialized selection of dried pastas, snacks, sauces, jams, etc. My husband and I went for the first time earlier this month and we were really blown away by this gem. The staff and (who I presumed to be) the owner are courteous, clearly work hard, and are friendly. I asked for several different sandwiches, half a pound of their homemade turkey breast, and some premades, and it seemed to be during a rush hour. I had a question about their selections, and while the staff that was helping me didn't know the answer, she didn't blow over it and instead made sure to check with the owner. This was in the middle of rush hour and there was a strong and consistent line of people; the owner, in spite of all the running around and multitasking, made sure to get me an answer and responded in such a kind and friendly way. It really made me nostalgic for more specialty stores that are run by actual people instead of a generic, mass marketed, one stop capitalist shop. Truly, Rosario's reinforces the ideology of 'shop local.' Highly recommend!”
“I love shopping at Minar! I discovered this place in 2022, the customer service is always great and consistent. I can safely give a review now because I am always, always happy with my experience and purchases. First of all, the meats are top quality, and let me tell you this, they customize your cuts for however you plan to prepare. For example, I asked for lamb, he asked how I plan to cook it, I said on the grill, he said ok I’ll leave a little fat on since it’s for the grill…that is just one of many experiences. “The absolute best home made pork provisions in North Jersey. It’s like a candy store for adults. Everything is absolutely high quality. The landjäger is delicious. Teewurst is a must try. They make some every Thursday. The fresh made veal loaf is top notch. The counter guys are fast and efficient. I highly recommend this place.”
