Very thorough. Very friendly. Very efficient. Genuinely concerned about your vehicle. Pricy, as dealerships are apt to be, but worth it considering the peace of mind knowing your vehicle is getting the best care.

Everyone was extremely professional, kind and helpful. This is the best place to bring your vehicle for service! They helped me with my Audi and answered all of my questions.I would like to specifically mention employees MJ Taggart and Shawn Ayoub who treated me very respectfully from start to finish and who made me feel that everything was going to be okay. 5 out of 5 stars! Highly recommended!

We purchased a used 2019 VW Jetta from your dealership about a month ago from salesman, Steven. As of today, we have yet to receive the plates and registration. Each time we call the dealership, we receive the runaround along with all the managers are in meetings and will call us back. We spoke to the receptionist ,Jaylene, who informed us they were still waiting on the title of the car and unable to obtain plates until they have the title. A follow up call made to the dealership the following day -spoke to Craig, who noted the title of the car has nothing to do with the plates and he will get to the bottom of it and requested we call back today after 10am. No assistance was given. Plates are still not in. Ratings given for This dealership is a 1 star. No one truly cares about the customer only making sales and profit. The temp plate will be expiring on Sunday, 12/18 and we will be unable to drive the vehicle purchased as a result until this is resolved.

James is a horrible mechanic. He holds your car in the shop for 2-3 weeks and no work gets done. You have to keep calling to remind him. He then adds over 3k in car parts that the vehicle does not need. When you approach him about it, he gets rude and nasty. He likes to say, other clients pay for it without a problem. Why would I pay you double for the price of car parts, when Audi sells the parts online for less? He then tells me i should be grateful for a loaner. Ill take my business elsewhere and make sure i let people know not to go to this dealership again.

Jack Daniels Kia in Fairlawn, New Jersey provided excellent service!!By texting a step-by-step video of the condition of my car - visually showing and verbally explaining detailed info, I was able to actually see and understand the service that was to be performed. With today's high-tech, high-performance automobiles, Jack Daniels is certainly in step and up-to-date with the type technology need toprovide the best service information that customers want for automotive service maintenace. Many Thanks John Nunley of Jack Daniels for a memorable automotive service experience! Special thanks also extended to Chris, Brian [tenhnician], Emily, Charlie, Sarah [sales] and Ashley- a tech genius!

This has been the absolute worst car buying experience ever. Everyone I have spoken to sounds very shady and deceitful. They have the absolute worst customer service, no one will return your calls or emails and they pretend to be swamped at all moments of the day, promise to call after hours and then never do.Here is a summary of my terrible experience:I found the car I wanted listed online at Cars.com that was available at their dealership. I asked them up front, “I’m out of state, will there be any problem selling a car to me in California?” They said, “No we sell cars all over the country.” I said, “Okay, great.”On Friday, I went through the entire buying process with them, offered to pay full price, plus cross country shipping. I sent over my financial information for buying the car, and gave them copies of my driver’s license and insurance information. Will sent me all of the updated tax information for California, and they added on a $995 inspection fee and a $195 etching fee. I said okay fine whatever. On Saturday he called me asking for my card number for the deposit and down payment. I gave it to him. Then I asked should I set up shipping for the car now? He said no, we’ll do that on Monday. Then he said he was going to talk to the DMV in New Jersey and he would get back to me.Monday comes and I don’t hear anything from him. I call multiple times, they say he will get back to me. Once he finally does, he says that they aren’t going to sell the car to me because I live in California. He said, “My manager said it’s company policy.” I said, “What? You’re telling me this now? That doesn’t make any sense. You’ve known that I lived in California from Day 1.” I asked him to explain. His explanation made no sense. I called the California DMV and asked them if I would be able to buy a car from New Jersey they said, sure no problem, you might need to get it smogged that’s all. I asked Will if his manager could please call me to explain exactly why they were not selling me this car. He said, “Sure I will have him call you.” He never called. On Tuesday I called and asked to talk to the manager to explain this situation. I got a hold of another salesperson and he spoke to the manager and said, “he will get back to you.” He never did.On Wednesday I called again and spoke to a receptionist and said, “I’d really like to talk to the manager, so he can explain this whole situation to me.” The receptionist said, “He is very busy he will call you after hours tonight.” He never did. Here I am waiting for a call back that I will clearly never get because they don’t even have a legitimate answer as to why they decided to cancel my purchase. Extremely shady! So, I’m left to write this review as a warning to anyone who is considering buying a car from this company. Clearly customer satisfaction isn’t important to them. I’d stay very far away from Jack Daniels if I had a choice.

Unfortunately, if you deal with Jack Daniels Volkswagen Dealership / Service, be aware that you will be charged a fee to sit and discuss simple interest rates for a possible lease-buy out. Paul (salesman) failed to inform me that there was a $189 fee associated with the safety inspection; he told me I needed to discuss any numbers with him in person. He also refused to discuss any numbers over the phone and reiterated that I needed to come in person. During the process, they assumed many things without asking me. They added various items without questioning whether I wanted them or needed them (certification of the car, gap insurance, etching, etc.), making the entire feel very condescending. After a gruesome two hours of back and forth, they drove me back to the service department since they made no effort in bringing my car back to the dealership. The service department then required me to pay $189 for the safety inspection that they suggested I get and made it sound like a courtesy inspection since no one ever mentioned a fee, nor did I agree to sign a document beforehand. No one mentioned this fee during all the phone calls, emails (not once). The Jack Daniels service department also failed to provide me with a quoted invoice as I dropped it off to warn me or make me aware of a fee. I spoke to the salesperson, manager, general manager, and they all lied, saying that I was made aware of the fee. No one in their right mind will sit with a dealership to discuss interest rates that I insisted on getting over the phone for $189. In the end, the best they could do for me was give me a discount and pocket $150 out of my hard-earn salary.

I ordered a key pop for my car 1.5 months ago. So i gave them calls multiple times to ask status, and they once incorrectly told me that the key arrived so I went to the center, but actually the key wasn't arrived. In addition, whenever I called them either they don't know whats going on about the order, promised me to call me back, no calls returned. I am not sure what kind if system, policy they have to track those key order. Beware that I paid then $150+ for key pop but they don't even know the order status. Such a worst business and recommend no one about this service center.

Do Not Do Business With This Dealership - They Are Fraudulent!!. My 18 year old son and I leased a 2021 Kia K5 on 10/9/20 from the Jack Daniels dealership in Fairlawn, New Jersey. This was a significant event for my son as he worked 3 years during high school to save enough money to lease this car. The lease for this vehicle included a $500 rebate for which we qualified because there was a 2020 Toyota Camry in our household at the time of the lease that was leased on 9/29/20 (10 days prior to the Kia lease). Evidence of this Toyota lease was provided to our sales rep (Wil Ihmaid) at the dealership at the point of sale. Instead of our sales person (Wil Ihmaid) deducting the $500 rebate at the time of sale, he said he would submit it on our behalf and it would take a few weeks. It was supposed to be deducted at the point of sale, but the dealership did not do it then, and it was never submitted on our behalf. I followed-up countless times in person, via email and phone, with Wil and the Manager, Reiner Basulto, and everyone refused to acknowledge that I was owed a rebate. On multiple times, I provided the Toyota registration, but they refused to accept it and also denied I provided it to them (even though I have emails as proof in addition to providing it in person at the point of sale. This was a "breach of contract". I informed then I would sue them if they refused to give us the rebate for which we were entitled and they laughed. In addition, the dealership refused to provide me/son with the permanent license plates for this vehicle when they arrived at the dealership 6 weeks later. I called, emailed and went to the dealership to follow-up countless times. On November 23rd, I went to the dealership and they claimed they had the plates and refused to give them to me. I contacted the police at that moment and they arrived and was able to obtain my permanent license plates the dealership was intentionally holding and not giving to me/son. Earlier this year, my case was heard in small claims court. The Manager, Reiner Basulto, represented the dealership in the case and continuously lied under oath during the case. As a result, I received the money for the rebate. When I went to the dealership to pick up the check, according to the terms of the court decision, Reiner again played games and refused to give me the check. Again, I had to call the police to come on site for support. I have supporting documentation and evidence to support all claims stated above. They are all real. Do Not Do Business with this dealership; they are fraudulent. I am not the first customer that had this experience. I have dealt with other KIA dealers in NJ and they are great! Nutley and Clifton. Please do not make the same mistake I did.
