We recently had the pleasure of purchasing our Mendota insert from Light My Fire Fireplace Store in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Can’t say enough about Melissa and John at Light My Fire. I needed service and they treated me as if I bought the fireplace two months ago. (I purchased my fireplace three years ago and do not live too close to them.) They are friendly, honest and very reliable. No need to look elsewhere if you are considering a new fireplace or a conversion. I have two Mendota’s from them.

We bought a gas log set for our fireplace about 5 years ago. They were extremely helpful and the installation looks absolutely beautiful and very realistic. So, recently we went back to buy a bigger log set for a different fireplace, and again they were extremely friendly and helpful. Not sure what the negative reviews are about, as we have only had great experiences with this store.
