How about this one!! I was told that the problem with the service was that my remote was bad, and they said they would ship one to me or I could pick it up at a store in Paramus... at the Garden state mall. I went there and walk around looking for the place and ask two security men where it was and was told that the store closed 3 years ago and was told of another place 3 miles away. I went there and got the remote and that did not work either. I tested the batteries, and they were dead. replaced them and that did not fix the issue, so after hours on the phone they told me the box was bad and this time they sent me to Fair Lawn store... pick up the box and was told they could not send a service truck out to me till Monday. so my TV would be down over the weekend..THIS WEEKEND OF FOOTBALL PLAY OFFS. So I installed the box and got the system working. Now this morning I called to cancel the appointment but was told I do not have one. I ended the call with some of my New Jersey anger.This company is a total joke. If it goes down again, Verizon will be installing their hard ware.

Updated - I think think Optimum has made it right by me. Giving it another try. will update once everything is worked out----------------------this is for optimum in general - fios internet. It's horrible. If you like service that sometimes works and randomly disconnects your devices or requires endless rebooting, this is for you.Oh - and terrible customer service and promises to send you expert technicians (who can't even speak English).I used to have normal coax internet - worked ok. When i reconnected, they had to upgrade me to fiber. It seriously is unreliable. One of the many reps i spoke with agreed and was going to send someone to rehook coax.. but they next rep disowned that comment..Verizon may cost a drop more - but using the SAME EXACT equipment, its a never fail option.

The only thing worse than their TV is their SLOW service. There was a giant line and only 2 people working the desk. After 30 minutes waiting, another guy came out to help. Avoid this Jenky cable!

Came to return equipment - canceled service after 20 years of being a customer. Spent 40 minutes in line with 5 people in front of me. Only 2 reps working at 200pm. Each waists an enormous amount of time trying to upsell services despite seeing angry people standing in line, a lot of them elderly. No chairs. There is even no table to temporarily put returned equipment on while waiting. No toilet. No supervision. No communication.This has been like this for years at this store. Optimum practices, tech support and customer service became unbearable.

No surprise here, optimum absolutely fails, yet again.Not only is there customer service by phone awful, I thought going to the store would be better……wrong.Line was 7 deep, and employees just disappear. Customer and employee in a full length conversation over family matters, completely dragging there feet on whatever matter was being handled. 30 minutes, no only 2 customers get seen. Awful.I can’t switch to Verizon quick enough. This company should be ashamed of its customer service.

Wifi went out called them told me it was their problem but I had to wait meanwhile I'm without a t v for 2 days already told me they send someone the next day that's 3 days withoutthen I'm outside & there are 3 trucks in neighborhood but they can't get someone at my apartment to check the problem ridiculous

Packed on Saturday... staff was overwhelmed and asked me to wait outside... needless to say, I just went home. Maybe they can ask that just the person whose name is on the account needing service be there ?. Also, maybe just a drop-off box for merchandise there (even though yes, some other places accept optimum equipment drop-offs). Lastly, the hours are wrong at this location -- they're closed on Sundays.

I had a very difficult situation that required some help. Your employee, Fausto stepped up and gave me the help I needed. He went over and above to handle the situation even though it took some time.
