“We had our wedding at the Pleasantdale Chateau this past Saturday, and calling it extraordinary somehow still feels like an understatement. Multiple guests have already told us this was the best wedding they’ve ever been to—and we completely agree.

Every single person we worked with was perfectly accommodating, professional, and genuinely kind, making us feel completely supported throughout the entire day. Our wedding attendant, Monica, deserves the highest praise and biggest shout out— she was attentive, thoughtful, and always one step ahead of my needs (especially with the many outfit changes). And the cocktail hour food...omg truly the best ever. It was abundant, beautifully presented, and unbelievably delicious. We still hear our guests raving about it and telling us it was the best cocktail hour they’ve ever experienced at a wedding.

Elizabeth was extremely helpful during the planning process—from helping with floorplans and securing event licenses to coordinating with vendors. Her attention to detail made everything seamless and stress-free.
Luis was also fantastic on the weekend of the event—professional, attentive, and supportive throughout. Thanks to their team, the event was a great success. I highly recommend the Women’s Club of Glen Ridge for any special occasion!”

“We had my wife's surprise 70th birthday party at the Park West Loft last weekend and it was a fantastic night thanks to Chris and his staff. The food and service was great and Chris was meticulous about planning the event, yet extremely easy to work with. He made sure everything went smoothly, including surprising my wife, which went off with out a hitch. The venue itself is wonderful, with a NYC vibe, and is well designed for a party.
I would recommend Chris, his staff and the Park West Loft without reservation.”

The venue itself was spacious & perfect for our party of 30, and it gave a very nice vibe almost club-like. “I HIGHLY recommend RAIN. My daughter’s bat mitzvah was epic. Scott and Miriam covered every detail making it so easy and simple to throw a smooth and fun event. The DJ, emcee and dancers were incredible and had the whole crowd - from ages 2 to 52 dancing for the Bat Mitzvah girl- they just get it! And the space is so easy to customize to your own look. “Great historic theater. The sound at the Dark Star Orchestra event, 11/20/2025, was great. It was very clean and clear. Great crowd, great staff and the band was extremely good once they got warmed up, which didn't take very long. Dark Star Orchestra always delivers professionalism.
Parking is easy enough with both street parking and a parking garage close by. A pretty laid back experience all around.”

Upon looking for a million venues , this one caught my eye through the internet and once we finally made our way to tour … no questions asked, we booked and gave a deposit on the spot . John made us feel so welcome and was so kind and informative and helpful , he was insanely flexible courteous and helpful through everything and through all the chaos . He was amazing leading up to the wedding and did a phenomenal job AT the wedding. He helped ease my mind as well as my husbands and delivered an extraordinary wedding. Guests were raving about how beautiful the room is and how delicious our food was .

“This is the best VFW in the state if you’re looking for a space to rent !! Had my wedding reception here and from step 1 Jesse was nothing but helpful and excited as if I were his own daughter. He made sure the space was able to transform into my dream venue and gave us free rein over what we wanted the place to look like. The building is all freshly renovated and is honestly one of the prettiest VFWs I’ve ever seen. When the day of the wedding came everything went wrong on my end and the day was chaotic. I called to let Jesse know and he immediately had the Worlds best bartender Mike call me and assure that the night would run smoothly. Once we got there the party was on, Mike went above & beyond and my family was raving about him afterwords. VFW Lodi made my wedding day one of the best days of my life. I would recommend them 1000 times over!!!”
