It’s very stressful to use CVS specialty pharmacy!
1. My first order: they forget to pack applicator for my medicine! I was struggling how to use it and almost missed my time to do it!
2. My emergency order: they don’t provide same day delivery service as another pharmacy!
I definitely would like to spend little more money for using another pharmacy in future!

I have been trying to get a revised dosage for one of my meds and I have been dealing with these incompetent people for a week. I have spoken to practically everyone there to get this resolved. My doctors office has even called several times. I wish I had a better way to get this medicine.

This is the most frustrating pharmacy or business at all I have ever had to deal with ... CVS Specialty pharmacy should be avoided at all costs.... I've been taking the same medicine for 7 years at least and they can't get it right ever.... The customer service is beyond incompetent and nobody cares at all about the patient

I was recently told by my new insurance company (Oscar) that the mail order company that is in-network for my plan was CVSCarmark; so I had to switch to them. Well they are HORRIBLE! I've had several interactions with them and each interaction was full of errors.
1 - When transferring my prescriptions from ExpressScripts to them, they assured me they would not process the automatic refill until it was due. Instead they processed it immediately. I was able to stop it, but then they canceled the two scripts completely and I was told the doctor would have to issue new prescriptions for the renewals.
2 - When it was time for the renewals, my doctor wrote two scripts. One script was for a 90-day supply of medicine and another was for a 30-day supply of a new medicine. The reason he sent over a 30-day supply for a new medicine, is because I am highly allergic to medicine and usually wind up having to throw out my medicines until a good one can be found and because he has to change the prescription every 30 days since he is weaning me off another pill. Well, CVS Caremark took it upon themselves to contact the doctor and request a 90-day supply and didn't contact me. I tried to stop this but was too late and got stuck with a huge bill and I'm unemployed!
3 - I contacted Customer Service four times asking them if I can return the medicine and EACH TIME the rep ignored the question and said something else. For example, instead of answering me, one rep thanked me and said the medicine shipped out. The next rep thanked me and said I cannot get the medicine re-sent unless I waited a while after I was supposed to receive it. Not one representative responded to my question.
THEY ARE HORRIBLE! I wish I could avoid them completely.

The biggest joke of any type of business except maybe clowns at a circus. I would highly recommend ANY other specialty pharmacy over this dump. No consistency. Different answers for the same question over and over again. The pharmacist might be ok but everyone else working for CVS specialty must be a part of a mentally handicapped hiring initiative. Don't say I didn't warn you if you attempt to use them for your specialty medication needs. They really are not smart, and all working from home. Maybe 1 in 20 or 30 are bright enough to work. You'll hear dogs barking in the background, TVs, other people talking about fantasy football, etc. They're truly a joke.

Spending hours on the phone every month to get prescriptions that I’ve already had sent by this specialty pharmacy is ridiculous. If you have time to wait around all day, this is the place for you. If you have an actual job, don’t bother with them because they will take up hours of your day. While everyone is relatively nice, I don’t understand why it takes so long for medications to be approved. So disappointing - adding stress to chronically ill patients seems a little backwards.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. They make everything so confusing and complicated to get you to give up. They send my refrigerated meds to some place other than where I requested. Now, I am told that my meds are no longer covered and have to try all the ones that are before I could possibly get pre-approval for the one I already use and am getting good results with. In addition, I need pre-approval to get the approved drugs. Huh? This is my insurance, well yes, but my insurance is CVS Caremark. Racquet!

There are like one two good workers there and they are not in charge. I agree with the poster. The authorities should do something.

I've been receiving calls for a different patient about their prescription being ready to pick up. They leave messages with the person's name. I've called to have them fix this for 2 days and so far, nothing has changed. I feel this is a HIPAA violation. Thomas Fedak is the name associated with the number.

This is the worst company/customer service I’ve ever encountered. I have had several experiences with them but they never have my medicine ready in time (WHEN ITS A CRUCIAL MEDICINE!!), always mess up my order, and never get back to you when you contact them. They need to get a reality check and start running a business the right way, some problem need SPECIALTY medicine to live.

I have been with this Pharmacy for 7 months and the service has been excellent. I have been able to refill my kidney transplant medications quickly and safely. Everything so far excellent.
