“I've had years of dealing with fluid leaks from my 2006 Honda V-6 2dr cpe. After I moved this summer(2023) to Plainfield, inquiries at service stations and auto parts stores led me to Sal's Fanwood Auto Transmissions. Three leaks, one requiring dropping the transmission to replace a seal, were cured. All repairs were within estimates that were well below others offered "back down south." I'll add it was a pleasure doing business there and talking with Sal and "the crew."”

“I do work on my own cars but have used Scotch Plains Auto for over 8 years beginning at their prior location for jobs that are over the top in labor or over my head in complexity. Every time, they have been smooth, clean, and efficient. As a customer I'm also reasonable and understanding. I enjoy the personality of the owner and his team, and really appreciate their expertise, solving issues on my vehicles that I couldn't figure out. I've had a timing belt replaced, coolant hoses replaced, and a very annoying valve located at the top of a gas tank replaced in another vehicle.
