Talc is a mere shadow of the once bustling, noisy, busy salon it used to be. There are only a few stylists left and the one that I got was the worst. I will only say that her name starts with an S so beware. I have never in my life gotten worse colors and cuts than from her. I saw her approx. 11 times over about 18 months. I, unwisely, stayed longer than I should have but it is stressful finding someone new. She never got me back to my vibrant copper red, only a rather drab brown. On 3 occasions, I had to return that day or the next for her to fix something she had cut wrong or that needed trimming. The last visit was the last straw for me. She chopped away at my hair cutting large chunks into the side of my head, the sides were uneven around my chin and she practically scalped me in back. After 10 weeks of growth (my usual is 6 weeks), I was only getting to the point where I actually needed a trim. I found someone just a few miles down the road and in just one visit, she got me back to my nice red color and shape. Go to Talc at your peril.

I am usually not bound to any one salon or stylist, when I need a haircut I need it NOW and I just find the next open appointment anywhere nearby that has online booking! That’s how I found Talc, and the bonus is it’s right around the corner from my office. But the cuts I have gotten here really are my favorite that I’ve ever gotten, the owner is very talented considering face shape. And their customer service is above and beyond—I left a pair of earrings there that I love and then went away for a month and admittedly hadn’t thought of them when I returned. During the workday someone enters our office—it is one of the assistants from the salon with my earrings in tow! I am so appreciative of this extra care!

Just the best, know TALC for always, 30+ years...Never had a bad experience...Color like no other...Being a redhead, this is a real talent to keep the right tone...I always have people ask me where I go for such a great color...Cut, unbeatable! Wash a relaxing experience with knowledgeable people...And bright and cheerful design as well as a Covid safe environment...A Crew of professionals and oh so nice too...I am loyal to this salon always...5+ of course...And for my friend a gazillion +

Talc is a really professional, great salon where you are always treated well and made comfortable by all of the staff. Sheri is an amazing colorist who I have followed wherever she goes for the past 20 years, and total strangers have stopped me to tell me how great my color is all the time (red/auburn). I will not go to anyone else, and she gives a great cut also. They are going above and beyond with safety and precaution during this time of CoVid-19 so everyone feels safe and comfortable going there. I highly recommend the salon to anyone, female and male. Salon in beautiful and clean. People are even better. Everyone is so friendly. For people with curly hair please consider going. (Even if u don't know what to do they are great with solutions). They know how to work with it for curly or straight looks. lots of stylists living w/ curls.
