Drove all the way to their location as it says open online but they ended up being closed with no posted signs or anything on the doors. Unfortunately no answer by phone either.

We recently had them install inground pool , the biggest hold up was the town and waiting for the permit . Once we had it , we were scheduled within 2 weeks. ( patience is the key at this point because of weather ) Within 3 weeks we were having the pool filled . We are very pleased with the pool and the work .Would definitely recommend , Bob coordinated everything and everyone who was on the job was professional and great !

I was threatened to be sued for slander by Bob if I wrote a detailed review of our terrible experience. With that being said. I've decided I'll summarize it as that and that should tell you enough. The most unprofessional group of people I have ever worked with. For the amount of hard earned money put into jobs for pools, there are plenty of other good local pool companies to choose from. I completely regret not trusting the many prior negative reviews, because now I am in agreement - do NOT use this company.

RUN. RUN FAST. Rude, disrespectful, unprofessional. Owner doesn’t take accountability and points fingers at others when an issue arises. When purchasing a replacement pool the owner was falling asleep infront of us mid conversation. (Should have been our first red flag) When ordered the pool the owner told us to not get it delivered to our house because it costs way too much money and wouldn’t even give us a price. Said we can rent a truck from Lowe’s and do it ourselves. So we did trusting the professional. Upon arrival to pick it up they use a fork lift to put it in the truck. So now my husband had to unload this pool hundreds if not thousands of pounds by himself as I was 8 months pregnant. (Second red flag) Installation team they told us would be 1,300$. When installation men arrive they tell us it’s over 1,800$. Installation men left garbage, cigarette butts and bottles filled with pee everywhere. 8 months later we find out the pool is supposed to be bonded. (After doing all our landscaping around the pool it now has to be dug up for the copper wire to be installed) When I call to find out why we weren’t informed of this the owner got defensive and blamed us for not knowing, the town and the installation men. They act as if everyone is a pool professional and should know everything regarding pools. Coming from a newer homeowner and new to pools they provided zero help or education. Alls they care about is selling equipment and getting their money. After that they could care less. Extremely disrespectful company. RUN. Will never step foot in this store again.

I just had a pleasant experience with Olympic pools and spa yesterday. Came right on time and throughly checked my pool and even fixed my pump!

Door and online says new business hours for the winter. Monday to Friday 9-5. I drove over here at 3 and they are closed. Doors even say winter hours m-f 9-5. Very disappointing

Stay away from Olympic Pool and Spa, Flanders NJ. If I could give zero stars, I would.I’ll spare the little details of the story, but in short…They built our inground pool fall of 2021. I had discovered a leak over the winter when we lost 20+ inches of water, far too much for it to have been evaporation. After Olympic reopened in April, and a long dragged out investigation where there was a lot of finger pointing between contractors. They agreed to replace the light’s wet niche. Jay, the owner’s son, did the replacement and requested a check made out to cash. He did not provide an invoice. When Jay returned the following day and was asked for an invoice, Jay became irate, screaming/cussing in my face and pointing fingers at me. He demanded I call my wife, who was teaching and had the checkbook. He demanded I take my sick son to the bank to get cash and he would follow me. He refused to leave my property until he was paid for the work he had done the day prior. All I wanted was an invoice, for work that SHOULD have been covered under warranty. At this point, he asked “where’s that razor, I’ll settle this right now. I’ll cut off the whole f’ing liner out”. This experience felt like a loan shark trying to collect his money via threat. Any reputable contractor we have ever dealt with has provided an invoice for services rendered. This was not an unreasonable request.I have a security video/audio of the entire 5+ minute ordeal. We filed a police report against Jay and Olympic Pools and provided the police with the video of this altercation. Our PD has been trying to get in touch with Jay via the Olympic Pool office number to instruct anyone from Olympic Pool to stay away from our property and to make no further attempt to contact us. If they ignore the Officer's request, we have been instructed by our local PD to contact them immediately.

Echoing some other reviews...Olympic Pool & Spa is run by some of the most disrespectful, unprofessional rude people in the business and that is saying a lot for pool construction folks. They kick their muddy boots off all over the foundation of your home, all of your driveway, and leave their trash (bottles, wrappers, food, etc) all over your yard for you to clean up. When you question them about it, they get defensive and nasty because obviously they could do no wrong. Zero accountability or responsibility.A few years back I had them close my pool. They must have left water in the filter tank because it slowly dripped out of the un-tightened drain cap at the bottom. Something must have been rusting inside because it was all rust water that permanently stained my filter pad. The following season, I opened the pool and the water was black, the worst it had ever been. Im nearly positive this cheap company did not use any or enough chemicals to properly close a pool. Since that experience, I've closed my own pool and opened to near crystal clear water. These guys really do skimp on material and labor.

There are a lot of pool stores in the area but this one is by far the best. Everything is always in stock, there's plenty of varieties in brands and options that you wouldn't find in other stores that only carry one brand's version of a specific chemical. The staff is very helpful. Always willing to answer questions and help you out. The back room with all the pools is really a missed opportunity for these owners, I want to rent out the space and have an adult-themed pool party in this vast room. It's amazing. There are like 10 different pool setup and various barbecue patio. Example demo area set up. Seriously owners, look into hosting private parties here!

Had the worse experience with a Olympic Pools. They abandoned our job and now we are stuck shelling out additional funds to remove the dirt Olympic left. Not just one load of dirt but SIX! They strung us along for 8 weeks promising they would come the following week. Wish they would have told us up front they didn’t want to finish our job. We wasted the entire summer with a yard full of dirt. Poor customer service too. They just yell and hang up on customers. We are paying you a huge amount of money to be treated like this. Please do your research when hiring a pool company.

After weeks of telling us they would be coming the following week, dragging this out for 8 weeks Olympic Pools abandoned the rest of our job. Now we need to shell out an additional 13k to have a drainage pit dug and 6 loads of dirt to be removed form our yard. Worse experience ever. They are just looking to start pools so they get the first two payments. They don't finish pools.
