Last month I held my daughter’s bridal shower at Max’s in Flemington. We could not have been happier with the venue. Taryn was amazing to work with and made sure every detail was perfect. Taryn, Dale and their staff could not have been more accommodating to us and our guests . My daughter and the guests raved about the food and the venue itself. I would highly recommend Max’s to anyone looking for a local venue for a private party .

I hate to think about the quality of the food when they can't even pay their bills on time and give you the run around. Definitely make sure everything is fresh before you eat it since fiscal responsibility in a food establishment goes hand in hand with cleanliness.

Max's catered our son's first birthday party and the food was excellent! We received so many compliments from our guests as well. Taryn was great to work with and made the ordering process so easy. We will definitely be reaching out to them again for future events.

Great friendly gourmet deli and eatery. Open early for breakfast (till 11AM) and many lunch items (until 2PM), plenty of parking. Eat-in or take home items. Locally owned and operated, first-class with a friendly vibe. They want to expand the hours they are open (currently till 2PM everyday (but closed Sundays?), good paid help needed/wanted. A must try if you are in the Flemington/Raritan Boro/Hunterdon County NJ area. Check out their menu online. Catering is also available.

I have eaten at Max’s several times and the food and customer service has always been top notch. Recently I had my daughter’s bridal shower at Max’s. The owner, Taryn, was extremely helpful and accommodating in planning the event. She transformed the dining room to fit our needs and even found a couple of decorative items for us that we were having difficulty locating. Max’s staff were very attentive to our needs during our party and the food was not only awesome but each guest had several entrees to chose from. I am so glad I chose Max’s for my daughter’s shower. I still have guests tell me how wonderful the food tasted!

A little hidden place in Flemington with delicious food and delightful hard-working owners. Plenty of options for your palate. Best French onio soup ever! Sandwiches are also on point.

I was the only one in there and had to wait 15 mins for 2 sandwiches to be made..Half the food in the display is uncovered and dry. Doesnt the health department require everything to be covered for cross contamination??A sandwich costs quite a bit and was sloppily made and doesn't even come with a bag of chips or anything for the price. I don't mind spending quite a bit on a GOOD sandwich, I'll drive to Philly to spend 20 on a cheesesteak but I won't be back for these sandwiches. My wife liked hers as far as taste but both sandwiches had all the stuff in the center. After remaking my sandwich so everything was even there was not enough ingredients for the price.Got an Italian hoagie the only other time I was there a while back and it was a sorry excuse, think they should go to jersey Mike's to see how to make a hoagie/sub.
