Michelle is fantastic! She gives a great cut for my curly hair—she really knows how to work with curls. She’s also very pleasant and makes the whole experience relaxing. The salon has a spa-like vibe, and since Michelle handles everything herself (cut, wash, payment), it’s always just the two of you, making for a calm, personalized experience. Highly recommend!

Michelle has been cutting my family's hair for 43 years! She has become a trusted part of the family and has given us amazing haircuts all that time! She even came to my home to cut my hair in my bathroom when I was on bedrest with my third child! She has given my (now adult) children lessons on skincare and haircare and has extended these lessons to my grandchildren. I recommend her highly.

I can honestly say that Michelle is an artist.
I had initially visited her salon at the recommendation of a friend and soon discovered that I had been introduced to an exceptional person.
Michelle has been able to tell me what styles would be most complimentary to my facial structure and encourage what would keep my hair journey moving forward.
A few weeks ago she suggested a permanent wave to provide volume to areas of my hair that were perpetually flat. I agreed, and am completely thrilled with the results.
Never have I received so many compliments on my hair.

I recently visited Michelle at Michelle Vanselous Salon in Flemington, NJ. My hair was in desperate need of a hair transformation. Michelle took the time to truly understand what I wanted the end result to be & she had the expertise & knowledge to achieve it. After talking & reviewing some pictures with Michelle, I ended up choosing a long layered haircut, multi dimensional highlights, & toner. I am extremely happy with the results & have received multiple compliments. Michelle's salon is pristine & has an ambiance that is relaxing & inviting. Michelle is very professional, artistic & personable. Even though the entire process took a few hours, it felt like the time flew by. The only place I trust for a GOOD cut!! Michelle has been cutting my hair, my sisters hair, my moms, my aunts hair, my cousins hair (the list goes on), for years. I am a 22 year old fashion girly in the city and I travel all the way home to get my hair cut by her. She uses great products and finishes your cut from start to finish with a blow out and sometimes a curl. Michelle knows how to give a real NYC cut right in little Hunderton County! Place is so welcoming and Michelle truly tries to get to know each and every one of her clients, which makes going there a more than just a hair appointment, but an experience! Truly best hair salon I have ever been to :)

Michelle is truly an expert with coloring and cutting hair. I have straight fine hair with a little wave. She gives such a great hair cut that my hair looks fuller with lots of body. Also, I like being a blonde in summer, then make it warmer color for fall. Michelle is a hairdresser that listens to you on what you want. Been to a lot of salons, highly recommend Michelle.
