I had not shopped at Home Depot in over a year because of their deceptive online information. Yesterday, in dire need of a car jump starter, I went online and ordered one from Home Depot. The website assured me that there were two in stock. The order went through and I waited for an hour for an email telling me I could go pick it up. I finally went in the store, only to find that they had zero in stock. No one had even begin to look for it before I got there. two employees went looking for it including a manager. The manager said that they have had a lot of theft by employees since Covid. This was not helpful to me and my situation.
