However, many customers note the store is significantly overpriced compared to other major supermarkets, treating it more as a convenient but costly option. A recurring issue is finding expired or overripe products, requiring careful checks of expiration dates. While recent renovations added convenient self-checkout and touchless payment, the store's reliance on a phone app for sale prices frustrates many, particularly seniors who find this system difficult. This policy can lead to customers leaving without sale items. Despite these drawbacks, many shop there for its proximity and overall pleasant experience, though some caution it could struggle if more affordable competition were nearby.
I have to say I had a wonderful experience there with the most helpful hands on experience in the deli department with a lovely young lady. She helped me find what I wanted and got me on my way in an expedited fashion.

This kings is more like a grab and go then a large, full service place. It's clean,staff is friendly and all your needs can be met here. Don't expect 22 different nacho chips. But you will have nacho chips.
