Store has refused my fedex drop offs twice. They tell me there is no more room on the shelf. Then, they point to a shelf that can clearly fit my item on it. There’s enough room for multiple items. But they still will not accept a drop offs unless it fits on their shelf. What kind of nonsense is this? Maybe list the store as “fedex drop offs site, for 3 items in total a day”.

I stopped at this location to do a little bit of shopping as well as load Cash onto my CashApp card. However, when I got to the register I was informed that I could not load any more than $200 as per the store manager Joe because they had been scammed for a lot of money on gift cards and cash app combined at another location in their district. This is a huge inconvenience!! I now have to stop somewhere else to load the rest of the cash I was planning on loading which was only another $85 But the manager on duty refused to load the additional $85. I was even willing to pay another fee to do a separate transaction. But she still refused. I NEVER Would have even went to this store had I known that this new rule had been put in place since I'd been there last week loading money. I would have gone elsewhere, instead of having to pay an additional fee & yes the fee is only $1 but that's not really the point!! Needless to say I won't be shopping here any longer or loading any money on any card at this store!! You've lost your first of what I'm sure will be many customers due to this stupid new rule. If the staff were properly trained they would have never allowed such a high dollar amount to be processed on Gift Cards & CashApp!! SMH

DON'T buy grill propane here! They use Amerigas. I bought a tank a few weeks ago, hooked it up, no leaks. Used it once for a burger, and shut the tank main valve off. Went to use it again and..... no gas. Went to speak to the manager who insisted there had to be a leak. There was no leak, they sold me an empty tank. He said that couldn't have happened, to which it absolutely could if the clerk took it from the wrong shelf. He suggested I buy another tank, kind of a wise guy. Anyway, hope this review helps someone.

This review is not necessarily about the store, but more about the store manager by the name of Joe. I went to the Forked River located to drop off a fed ex package and he was obnoxious to myself and another customer trying to do the same. He told me he could not accept our packages because his shelf was full. I'm not here to debate his store policy but more about his personality. He was very obnoxious and smirk. Myself and the other customer both felt the same way and felt that he just didn't want to deal with fed ex customers. After leaving that location I had to travel about 3 miles south to this location here. The girl here was very polite and helpful. While there i needed to shop for other items. As chance would have it joe happened to show up at this location as well. I know his name is joe because I overheard him lecturing and talking down to his employee about her work and her workplace housekeeping. I heard her call him by name saying her area and back room are fine. His response was yes, it's fine but not great. Again, I'm not here to talk policy or the standards of housekeeping, but to point out once again how unprofessional he is. In my experience as a supervisor, you never call out or talk down to your subordinates in public or in front of customers.

The store is understaffed, No garbage cans outside all the trash blows down the street where i live. This company does not care about our community or its employees . Why is this locatione often closed during regular business hours ? Where is Management. Just a matter of time before some one will get hurt with this place always a mess ? Please get this company out of our town.

This Dollar General location is well organized and tidy whenever I go to shop. Associates also never fail to greet customers and they are pleasant and helpful.
