It sounds funny to say but I look forward to visiting this service area. Celia Cruz Service Area is so inviting and well-designed. I love the furnishings and fabrics they chose for this place. It looks so nice and is always clean. The people who work here are friendly. I especially love the music when you first enter and enjoyed reading all about Celia Cruz. What a neat person!

On 1/6/2024 at the store by the gas station. Gave the older blonde cashier a large bill & she gave me $5 bills folded. I walked away, then realized my change was incorrect by $5 less. Of course she claimed she gave me the correct amount. Make sure you count your money in front of her. I'm sure she's done this many times....

I recently stopped at the Celia Cruz Service Area and was thoroughly impressed! The facility is new and well-maintained, with clean and modern bathrooms that were a delight to use. Plus, there was ample parking available, which made it easy to stop and take a break. The inner and outer seating areas were also comfortable and clean. Overall, I was blown away by the quality and convenience of this service area. If you're looking for a reliable and comfortable spot to rest and refuel during your travels, look no further than Celia Cruz Service Area!

I like the star-themed rest stops on the Garden State Parkway. These stops are very attractive, clean, well lit, and interesting. The place is very central to the person highlighted. As the others, the assortment of shops and eateries is nice. Despite the elevated tourist-level prices, this stop is worth a visit.

We went here when it was Forked River rest stop. It's clean and safe. -What more can you ask for in a rest stop? My pictures won't upload.

As part of renaming the rest stop after Jersey's best - Gov has renamed it after Celia Cruz.Exhibit inside about Cruz’s life and her 60-year-long musical career. A mini-museum dedicated to Cruz, who earned the title Queen of Salsa during her multi-decade music and film career. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained. Well-lit, a convenience store, food chain (Burger Kings, Nathans, Starbucks), ample seating arrangements - everything is there which is supposed to be at rest stop.

The Burger King is disgusting and should be ashamed of themselves. My son was beyond hungry and was really looking forward to two of his favorite chicken sandwiches made plain. Upon opening the sandwiches and tasting them, it was like a chicken patty you purchased at the DOLLAR STORE!!! Tasted absolutely disgusting! $8.50 per PLAIN sandwich... Highway robbery!

We missed our greyhound to Atlantic City and had to take NJ transit instead. The bathroom door of this bus was locked, inaccessible, of no use. After some complaints from fellow passengers we stopped, here, at this rest stop which pays tribute to the great Celia Cruz, an absolute surprise to me.A man eating a whopper looked me In the eyes and said “rock and roll” to me but was gone when I left the bathroom, and then I puffed my girlfriends vape before getting back on the bus.
