Griffith Gym is a facility for active duty military personnel, retirees, and dependents with proper military ID. It is not open to the general public. The gym is clean, nicely spaced, and enjoyable, though it is often busy. Since COVID, there has been no basketball court, as the equipment now covers that area. Access requires re-badging at the desk every evening at 1900 unless 24-hour access is obtained. The facility was historically known as the Sports Arena, hosting professional wrestling events.
Ha, I remember going here as a kid 75-81, when they would have professional wrestling events (WWE style), back then it was called the Sports Arena, I remember watching them put the ring together one time, I couldn't believe how big the springs under the mat were, they were huge!!

Gym is pretty spacious... has sufficient equipment to moderately work out... pretty clean also

Great facility with all needed equipment for a full workout. Staff is friendly and gym was well maintained.
