Willow Pond RV Campground

Willow Pond RV Campground is a military campground located on an active base, requiring a military ID for access. Each site includes water hookups and 30 Amp service for a nightly fee, with a dump station on site. The surrounding area offers a pool, a bowling alley, and many off-base restaurants and shopping options nearby. The campground is generally peaceful and quiet, especially on weekends, with no security issues. However, it backs up to a main road with weekday traffic from large army trucks. Amenities are limited. The bathrooms and showers are sometimes closed or locked, and when open, the facilities are in need of general maintenance and repair, with response being slow. The water hookups are dated and can be problematic. There is no Wi-Fi, and cell phone reception is not good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The sites can get muddy when it rains. Overall, it is considered an all-around good or nice RV campground for visiting the area, with a couple of caveats.
